Have you experienced bias in these classes or gyms? Or is seeing the majority of the participants being thin intimidating? Personally, I haven't experienced people being rude or giving me long stares even though I have worn some really short shorts and crop tops at my heaviest in classes like hot yoga (lots of skinny…

What are your books about (genres, fiction/nonfiction, etc...)? I am hoping to become fluent in Korean again.

@atitagain1958 Some of your goals are also things I have been working on. It took me a long time to figure out how to fit the phrase "just start with one". Despite my body, I have an ambitious spirit so it is hard for me to accept that I have to take things a lot slower. I also want to find more friends but it is really…

@camsthebrave Just curious, what got you interested in social work and what would you like to do in that field?

I am 25 years old. Trans and bisexual. Most of my family is Korean and traditional, so homosexuality/bisexuality/pansexuality and to a lesser extent trangender identity is not very much understood. To add to the complexity of traditional Korean beliefs, some of my family members are religious. I am not somewhat closeted…

I am 5'3 and a half. My goal is to be around 130-125 lbs. I have lost 31 lbs so far. I am hoping my bust size will go down 1 cup size and an inch in band size. Most of the excess fat is in my thighs, hips, and stomach. I want to get rid of that. My arms aren't too bad but they lost definition.

I have not but thank you for the suggestion. I would have never thought of that. I will definitely try it.

I wonder if coconut sugar would work for meringues.

I do eat both in moderation. I haven't experienced any side effects like I would if it was wheat. I am going to try using turnips as an alternative to potatoes and see if I can use that as a substitute. I alternate between regular cheese and nut cheeses. I just wish nut cheeses weren't so expensive because otherwise, I…

Get a binder and some binder paper. Make a list of all triggers (emotions, bad memories, etc...). Then write down all different kinds of ways you use or do to help you when you are triggered. Make sure they are simple, inexpensive, and accessible. Examples: Watching a funny video, drinking hot tea, taking a walk, counting…

Hello. I have been dealing with gender dsyphoria. Even though I live in the Bay Area, I don't really have someone who I can just call and talk about it. My silver lining is knowing my animal companion loves no matter what and that I matter to him.

I think I am definitely attracted but I am still on the fence about being in a romantic relationship.

Are your periods very painful? Do you have any illnesses that are affecting the pain levels? I usually don't calorie count and rest for the 3-4 days before my cycle and 2-3 days into my cycle because I have some physical illnesses (one is fibromyalgia, a chronic pain illness) and doing anything too straining puts me more…

Personally, I would have less than 5 servings for carbs even if it brown rice. Carbs and I are have a dangerous relationship. I try to have more vegetable servings (I like to stick spinach in my smoothies) and minimize drinking juice.

I have to be gluten free because of my illnesses. I am happy to no longer have to take steroids for itching, my stomach rarely has painful inflammation, and I haven't had an IBS episode in a while. However, it is restricting, expensive at times, can be a hit or miss when it comes to trying out new recipes or requires more…
