Adding and I totally understand. I lost 90 lbs last year, but I lost my way after the holidays and was up 11 lbs 2 weeks ago so I just let my 170+ day streak lapse. Success is not final and failure is not fatal. Let's do this, yeah?

Hey Erica, I feel your pain regarding the knee injury. I have been plagued with issues to my lower extremities all my life, even before I put on weight and it's definitely not any better now that I'm heavier. With that said, you can totally do it even with the knee issues. I've already lost 63 lbs with 142 lbs to go so if…

Hello. I've been using the MFP app for 64 days and have lost 38 lbs total in that time. Before August 12th, I had only lost 23 lbs from the the 1st of January. 23 lbs lost in a little over 7 months versus 64 days is night and day. For the better part of the first half of the year, I stayed fairly active, training in the…

The things I see on the MFP forums after 1AM. LoL, dying.

Agreed. 600-800 really is concerning. I was just playing with the BMR calculator and the closest i could get that low of a caloric maintenance intake is if a person was 80 years old, 4'7" and weighed 70 lbs. Even the most aggressive calorie restriction programs I've heard of, often associated with bariatric patients, is…

I did. :) Hooray!

My sister says I'm pretty girly for a man. If that works for you, feel free to add me. =P

I agree. I gained a tremendous amount of weight in 2007, going from 255 to 330 in a matter of months, after a very messy break up and, up until last year, I only made slight weight loss progress for short periods only to gain it back again and then some. I topped out at 380 lbs twice, once early last year, and then again…

Feel free to add me also. I've already dropped 60 lbs and still have about 145 to go! We all can do this together. Motiv8!

I agree with lounicolas, true low intake makes my head hurt, but it works for some. My daily carb intake is moderate (100-150 on avg), but I am using some Atkins philosophies. Feel free to add me if you like.

I'm in Dallas, but I train in Hurst on the weekends. If any of you want to add me, feel free. Motiv8!

Congratulations on your weight loss so far Cheryl! For each person who is trying to lose weight, we all have our own hurdles to cross, but just because our paths our different, doesn't mean we can't help encourage each other to be better. As for taking time to lose the weight, none of us put this weight on overnight so I…
