  • Apr 1st 149.7 Apr 8th 149.9 Goal weight end of April 145.7 First major weight loss stall this year, probably due to my period. I've seen these before. Checked my diary - if anything I have been undereatimg, as I have a few events this month and needed to bank some calories (Easter, birthday, weekend away). Oh well, I'll…
  • @Kirstie155 - So sorry to hear about everything you're going through. I'm glad your husband is being supportive. I hope it all goes well with the spinal specialist - let us know how you get on.
  • @girlalmighty08 - don't worry about sudden weight increases - they're almost always mostly water and will sort themselves out. Good luck to everyone with your April goals - I have a good feeling about this month!
  • @VeryKatie - lovely. Great bump! Just a few weeks to go now!
  • If you're trying to conceive, it's best to best a diet that you can continue while pregnant. This is because you will be pregnant for at least two weeks before a pregnancy test is positive, and because it is a good idea to get into healthy habits now, that you can continue throughout a pregnancy. There have not been any…
  • @Kirstie155 sorry to hear you're not pregnant this month. I was 3 days late in our first month of ttc and I remember getting all excited about it. Fingers crossed for next month for you.
  • Mar 1st 157.8 Mar 6th 156.1 Mar 13th 155.0 Mar 20th 155.6 (but overall trend is down) Mar 27th 151.7 (woo hoo!) Mar 31st 149.7 (wow!!!) Goal weight end of March 153.8 Amazing month for me! I'm on a roll now. Next mini aim is to get to a BMI between 21-24, which is supposed to give you the best chance of conceiving. For me,…
  • Congratulations @StephAStephan - have everything crossed for you this time!
  • @WifiresGettingFit Great job on the 13,000 steps! Best of luck with the wedding planning! @Kirstie155 I know what you mean about the symptom spotting - I do the same thing every month! @SheilAnneSmith From tge spreadsheet it looks like you smashed your goal! Great work! @pezhed Don't worry about your weight - with the…
  • @jennamae102 Fantastic news!! Congratulations- I'm sure you're probably still in shock, but wonderful news nonetheless. Keep us updated on how you get on!
  • Congratulations @puffbrat - fantastic news about your promotion and about the paid leave!
  • Thanks! I love the encouraging comments on here, it really helps. Four days til the end of the month ladies - we've got this!
  • Monday weigh in... Mar 1st 157.8 Mar 6th 156.1 Mar 13th 155.0 Mar 20th 155.6 (but overall trend is down) Mar 27th 151.7 (woo hoo!) Mar 31st Goal weight end of March 153.8 This has been a great month for me! The main difference has been loads of exercise - I'm training for the Spartan race at the end of April and it's given…
  • That's right - with the free app you can't set daily goals.
  • My husband is much taller and heavier than me, and maintains in WAY more than I do! Things which help: - He eats a large meal at lunch, so that we can have a light evening meal together - I buy his favourite high calorie snacks instead of mine, so that I'm less tempted - If he's eating something that I really want, but…
  • Hi @Equestrian15 - sorry to hear you've had such a rough time. Fingers crossed for you this time.
  • Fantastic news Katie! All countries should follow suit!
  • Ovulated! I have nobody else to share this graph with (even my husband doesn't get it!), but thought you guys might understand. Btw - I have been rubbish at taking my temperature at the same time, so it goes to show that it's still possible to track ovulation, even if youre flaky.
  • We're TTC just now, but I'm losing at the same time. It's a nice consolation prize - every month we don't conceive I get to lose another 4-5lbs. I wanted to have a normal BMI before pregnancy, and establish a regular exercise routine, in an ideal world.
  • Mar 1st 157.8 Mar 6th 156.1 Mar 13th 155.0 Mar 20th 155.6 (but overall trend is down) March goal weight 153.8 Just finished the Bermuda Triple Challenge - 3 days of obstacle racing! My numbers don't look good today but the overall trend is down (I love weightgrapher) so I'm still on track to reach my March goal.
  • More spreadsheets?!? I love it! Maybe something to track ttc attempts? (e.g. Methods used to track ovulation etc). I was so proud of myself that I didn't poas before my period last month - maybe something to reward that? Probably not as interesting for you right now though! Alternatively, something to track the variety of…
  • Welcome to the group @SheilAnneSmith and @girlalmighty08 - hope you enjoy all the support her and the spreadsheet challenges!
  • Thanks for asking @Kirstie155 - I'm on month 5 of TTC and waiting to ovulate. I'm tracking my BBT this month for the first time (it won't change what we do, I'll just have a better idea with retrospect as to how good our timing was). I have to admit, I was sort of expecting to get pregnant straight away so my first few…
  • I've tried to find the answer to this online, but nobody has ever done a study. For me, my BMI is currently over 25 so I figure that trying to lose is better for a potential baby. Once my BMI is under 25 I'll reduce my deficit. I like the pragmatic attitude @VeryKatie - I think you're right to say it's relatively safe.…
  • I've just been trying to maximize the number of different fruits and veggies and eating plenty of wholegrains. I've been eating some full fat dairy and fish too. When it comes to supplements, folate and vitamin D are essential (you should start them before ttc) but none of the others are.
  • Thank you, that's really helpful
  • Thank you! Where did you find the numbers? I'm not racing, just skiing at a leisurely pace but probably with a few mogul runs thrown in.
  • Feeling positive for March! 1st March: 157.8 31st March goal: 153.8 Starting the month with a mini ski holiday so might be a tough challenge this month! If I make it, I'll ba back in the "normal" BMI range, which would be ideal before pregnancy.
  • @teegan84 Congratulations on your beautiful boy! I love his name! Well done for getting him here and good luck with everyhing to come!
  • @WifiresGettingFit - I always go with the averages too! It tells a better story! Feb 1st 166.0 Feb 28th 157.8 Delighted!
