I looked into Rainbow Light and it has great reviews! Thanks for the tip Queenmunchy!

@_dracarys_ So what are you using to track your steps?
-
I have the Charge HR, but I find that it does NOT want to sync to MFP these days??? Not sure that the problem is

Right now I have a regular digital scale and it sucks. I can stand on it 5 times and get different weights! This am I got 255.6, 256.6, 258.2, and 256.4. :|
-
Do weigh yourself every am?
-
I've been here about a week now and haven't come across any posts like that! 9/10 I find the folks here are very helpful and willing to help me understand various topics.

I have an HR. I was told that in order for it to be accurate, you'd have to wear it around your ankle area. Has anyone else heard of this???
-
I have the HR. It is not syncing at all. As of now, I'm using my iPhone to track my steps, but its very inaccurate because I put it down and walk away to do something all the time.
-
I had a fit bit zip, but the dog ate it. :| I currently have a fit bit HR, but I don't feel it's really accurate. A friend of mine told me that I should wear it on my ankles so it could be more accurate, but if I do that I don't think it will measure my heart rate which defeats the purpose of me getting the HR in the first…

Will Vivofit sync to MFP?
-
Your NOT alone. For some reason they are not on speaking terms (the actual apps) it is unclear on which end the glitch is. If you search "fitbit sync" on the forums, you will see various members having the same issue! :#

I have been addicted to diet soda for sometime now. I love it, it's like crack for me really. LOL. I'm having a hard time giving it up, it has started to break out my skin with acne really bad. If I stop drinking soda for a few weeks my face clears up. But just one can will break my face out overnight! :(
-
For those that have an iPhone, have you tried to track your steps that way?? Is the iPhone accurate?
-
Same issue here! Is there anyway to manually add the steps from fitbit onto MFP??
-
I am currently 5'8 and 261lbs. So yes, I have a wayyys to go!
-
@ccrdragon I like simple!
-
. Yes but it doesn't help with my weight loss goals.
-
So what's the big hype about? I guess it's always seemed like you have to go to the gym in order to lose weight.
-
I know my goal is aggressive wanting to lose 2 pounds per week.....But every day I have calories left over, I think my diary settings are open to the public if you want to take a look. So it's not so much that I can't handle the deficit, it's more like I need to learn how to adjust them in the right ratio so that at the…

I wanna look like Beyonce! Lol. I actually want to look in shape. When I go to the gym I do 30 mins cardio, 20 mins weights and 50 mins looking at the clock to see if its time to leave. Lol. I guess I feel that I need to do some form of exercise in order to lose weight, but to be honest I really don't like going to the gym.

@Aaron_K123 My goal is too lose 2lbs/wk. So I should be more worried about my actual calorie intake than macros?
-
I only eat about 50% of my workout calories, if that, most of the time. I don't feel like I am starving, and if I choose my foods wisely (example tuna sandwich at Subway vs home made tuna sandwich), I can usually eat all my meals and have cals left over. I guess my two gripes are... 1-I still crave fast food, and I do not…

Intermittent Fasting=IF I am pretty new to this lingo as well!
-
@Carlos_421 According to several online calculators, my BMR is 1,940 and my TDEE 3,000 (very close estimates). I would like to lose 2 lbs a week. You think 1400-1500 calories is too low? I am doing IF and only eat between 10a-6p.
-
How do you log it?? I understand the concept, but not sure how to do it??
-
I wish MFP calculated your cals by the week! Or at least rolled over your unused cals☺️
-
I workout on any empty stomach (only because I work out at 4am) and have no trouble.
-
The problem is that when I do that calculation, it always puts me at much higher cals than I want to be at. I really want to stay around 1400, 1500max.
-
Its def on the low end, but I eat back 50% of what I gain from working out.
-
So my ideal weight is 170 lbs So fat would be 0.4 x 170=68g Protein would be 0.8 x 170=136g Carb=?? That seems like it would bring my cals way above 1400
