I know you said you've been eating too few calories, but have you been eating more sodium or carbs? Those two things make me retain water, along with increased exercise like ultrahoon said.

Thanks! I was kind of enjoying that my clothes were loose, as proof to me that I had lost weight. I didn't think I looked that bad until hubby laughed at my flabby pants. No one at work said anything until I started wearing the smaller pants, so I just figured no one noticed. Turns out they did, but didn't say anything…

I guess the moral of the story is - don't wait too long to try on those clothes we expanded out of. :)

Last week! SW 182 GW 167 CW 167.1 - I missed it by .1 lb! Must have been that leftover Halloween candy. But since I lost 14.9 lbs, I'm happy! Overall, 25 lbs down, 32 to go.

My plan worked - sort of. I stayed under my calorie goals, but my hubs wanted to do the cooking. Bless his little heart. He learned that "saute" does not mean "boil in oil," so I went over my fat macro. We did have a good laff about it.

Tough love, and so true! Age is just a number and it does not define you. I've lost 23 lbs (34 to go), started working out at the gym 4x per week doing resistance training. I also do bodyweight exercises at home. I'm 67. I had to get tough with myself to do any of it, and it isn't any harder than it was 20 or 30 years ago.…
