If you feel you've been consistent and this change is unexplained it might be worth a trip to the doc.

Cheering for you!

Whoa! That's impressive! My current goal is 1.

This is my big goal! Congratulations!!!

That is awesome! I'm looking forward to catching up with you :)

Congratulations!

My condolences. That is a very difficult time to be on plan. Cheers to you for feeling great and being back!

Yeaaah! Champion!

Thank you! I appreciate the encouragement :)

The year started out with an injury that really limited my mobility, and now I'm caring for a family member who's had surgery. This is a less than ideal situation for meeting any fitness goals. And I'm not: I have made zero progress in weight or training... I'm probably a few steps back on the fitness front. All that said,…

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! As a fellow cyclist coming off a minor 6 week injury I'm really cheering for you! Way to get back on that bike :)

Congratulations!

This is a great thread! Cheers to the original poster and all who have replied, I'm sure many people will find your posts helpful. One of my favorite quotes so far: My journey has not been about waking up one day and changing everything; it's been about waking up each day, listening, learning, trying new things, and…

That sounds like a huge deal to me! So glad you're feeling good :) Congrats!

I feel for you. I've been down with a foot injury for a month and I'm not able/allowed to do any of my normal activities: swim, bike, walk and jog. This has really impacted my mood and ability to focus, and like you said, all of my health and athletic goals. What's helped: focusing on strength and flexibility. I lift as…

Congratulations! A personal best is always something to celebrate!

I've seen other people post about this before and thought "how could that be?" Then yesterday I was tagged in a Facebook post and couldn't find myself. The Better Half had to point me out. An oddly unnerving feeling.

Thank you all for your replies and feedback. I really appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experiences and perspectives. I'll definitely start paying more attention to macros. Cheers!

Yes! Exactly! Cheers :)

I've been frustrated by my lack of success both on the scale and in the gym lately. I probably just need to focus more. But yesterday I noticed that my watch kept slipping around so I had to tighten it up a notch. Something is working!

Push-ups (10, 7, 5); Ball passes (10, 7, 5); squats w/ 10lb med ball (3x10), Bar hangs- working on my grip (2 @ 30 secs); assisted pull ups (2 x 3) assisted bar dips (2 x 3) 5k in 36 min (run/walk intervals Stretching Biking for commute: probably about 7 miles total today.

Breaking into the 160s and consistently doing strength work 3 days a week.

Any muscles! My legs are strong and I love the definition coming out. My upper body has always been very weak, so seeing those little muscles take shape is disproportionately exciting. If...no, when my abs start to show I'll completely flip out.

Thank you for starting this topic, @Ponkeen! I've been curious about "NSGs" as well. My 2015 resolution was to try 10 sports. I accomplished that goal 2 weeks ago, and along the way I've been getting fitter and stronger. I haven't written out my 2016 goals yet, but they will be strength, endurance, and flexibility…

I've been there. Seeking help from a doctor, preferably an endocrinologist, is really important. Not just for weight loss, but for the many ways hypothyroidism can impact your health. Best of luck!

I strongly recommend first thinking about what you want to track and why. What sort of information do you want and will be most helpful to you? Then research: use search terms like "compare activity trackers" to get an idea of what's out there. Once you have an idea of your options you can use Amazon to read reviews and…

Kisses71213: congratulations! A great thing is that we get to pick our own milestones. I'm glad you're doing well and that the numbers are helping motivate you! I'm more activity than number oriented, but I've found numbers to be very affirming. Go team!

Soopatt, that's a great idea! I like the idea of "movement activities" and I'd never heard of combat larping. New things to learn about and try!

@fiddletime: I'm sorry to hear about your friends. Having gone down that thyroid road, I really hope your friend is doing better now. It can be really scary. I agree that honesty is the best policy!
