  • I’m a subscriber to his YouTube channel. A ton of very informative videos.
  • Another vote for the chocolate peanut butter cups. I eat one of these at least once a day. I also recently found another dessert that’s become a favorite and that’s a white chocolate mousse https://i.pinimg.com/1200x/f7/17/82/f71782b34056766ceffbaa080a3071f1.jpg
  • Don’t worry too much about dropping a size yet. Most sizes are about 20-25 lbs. We don’t realize that when we’re overweight and begin to lose weight, we lose the fat around our organs first before we actually see the loss around our waist. Continue to weigh and measure yourself every so often and document the loss. Don’t…
  • Welcome aboard the keto lifestyle. Things may seem a little hard at first, trying to figure out what you can and cannot eat but after a couple of weeks, you’ll feel like a pro.
  • Increase your potassium intake. I notice I get leg cramps whenever I’m below 1000mg per day. I take at least 3 potassium pills everyday (it’s only 99mg per pill). You should get the rest from your food intake. Avocado, sunflower seeds and pepperoni are great sources of potassium.
  • I started out by just reducing my carbs before I did Keto. I did that for about 3 weeks so it was a slow transition for me. I try to stay under 20g but some days I’ll hit close to 30.
  • I treated myself to pizza about a month ago as it had been almost 4 months since I last had some. It was sooo good, but I went back to Keto the next day. I felt so bloated afterwards.
  • My go to snack is a peanut butter cup fat bomb. Almost like a Reese’s but made with dark chocolate. I also love my keto friendly cheesecake.
  • I’ve been on keto for 4 months now and it’s really helped with my weight loss struggles. I don’t seem to lose weight as easily as other people. It feels good to finally kick that sugar craving I had and seeing the number on the scale go down each week. This is definitely a lifestyle change for me as well.
  • It’s actually 4g per pizza as each pizza is one serving.
  • I bought mine at Publix. Here’s the link so you can type in your zip code to see which store closest to you that sells it. https://www.realgoodfoods.com/store-locator/
  • Nope, not anymore. I feel better using real butter when scrambling eggs as opposed to using pan spray. Food tastes better too.
  • I found a recipe for a peanut butter cup fat bomb that I love!! There are a ton of fat bomb recipes out there that will help you reach your fat macros. But honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much about reaching your fat macros as your body has enough body fat it can pull from.
  • Make sure you take your body measurements. Sometimes you may not see a reduction on the scale but you’re losing inches. It also helps if you have a scale that can determine your body fat % as well.
  • I didn’t really experience Keto flu. Before I decided to go Keto, I had already reduced my sugar and carbs for about a month. Not as low as I am now in Keto, although I wasn’t tracking my food. Once I decided to go Keto, I just eliminated the higher starchy veggies and increased my fat. I started out losing 2 lbs a week,…
  • I started Keto about 2 months ago and I’m loving it. Start out simple until you get used to how it works before trying out new recipes. I mostly stick with protein, salads and occasional veggies. I make different fat bombs as my snacks to reach my goal for the day. There are a ton of videos on YouTube and a ton of recipes…
  • I think you would definitely need a scale to figure things out. Have you tried using the recipe add in the diary section? For the chicken and sauce, build the recipe for the sauce, weigh the chicken before the sauce, then weigh it after to figure out how many oz of sauce you have. It takes a little work, but it's doable.
  • That happens to me sometimes too. When I go over my calories, I'm down 1 lb the next day. It's weird, but it works for me.
  • 2 weeks is not a long time to worry about progress. Weight loss is linear and there will be weeks that you lose, and weeks you'll remain the same or even gain. Continue weighing/logging your food, stay within your calories and don't stress out over it.

  • Nope, but once I hit post reply, my post wasn't there. I was beginning to wonder if I did something wrong.

  • Congrats on reaching your goal 6 days early!
  • ITA with @KateTii. Once you begin a new exercise regimen, your muscles retain water for repair. If your clothes are beginning to feel looser, then you're losing inches. Take your measurements to see where you currently stand and recheck every 2 weeks. The scale will catch up in no time and you may see that you've lost 3-4…
  • Depending on how much you weigh and how much you need to lose, it may be a little tough. That's 2.75 lbs a week. You may have a week here and there that you may lose 2-3 lbs, but most of the time it may only be 1-1 1/2 lbs. Maybe stretch it out to 5 months where it'll be around 2 lbs a week. You didn't put on this weight…
