August 2015 - April 2016 72 pounds down and feeling so much healthier. 30 pounds still to go.

Ok, so I guess it's time to tighten the belt but to try and keep this doable I've set my goal to 1lb a week and I'll try eating up to one third of my Fitbit calories and see if this gets me started on a downward trend again. If I reduce calories by too much I simply won't stick to it.

Tea-green, fruity, herbal......no calories and satisfies that need for something warm and comforting.

I went for a 6mile hill walk this week. Firstly I just wouldn't have been able to do that a year ago. Secondly my Fitbit never registered me above a fat burn even though it was tough walking at times- lower blood pressure and a healthier heart is a great side effect of weight loss and exercise!

I allow myself to eat up to maintainance calories on special days as I enjoy food and fellowship! But it will be hard because I love chocolate and there will be lots around!!

I've had my Charge HR since last summer and it has been pretty accurate. It's linked to MFP and I eat at least half my exercise calories back and I've been losing consistently. I love it.
