Having the same problem. 2061 steps is showing 1423 calories. Hoping for a resolution to this.

After losing weight 5 years ago I had knee problems and the weight crept back on. I love hiking but realised a month ago how much I’m struggling because of my weight. Holding myself accountable now and logging on mfp everyday and the weight has started to come off. It’s going to take a long time so slow and steady.

Actually getting back on track. I started this journey 3 years ago and had a great loss but put some weight back on over the last year. My nsv is that I’m back on track with exercising and eating healthily and I’m already feeling so much better. The fact that numbers are dropping is a bonus.

Fabulous-amazing loss!

I have lived with grief and depression for many years now and exercise is my key to maintaining a life that is more level and meaningful. I recently switched to visiting the gym before work and I can’t believe the difference it’s made to my mood.

That’s so inspiring, well done. My own weight loss started when an arthritic knee was causing me so much pain and stiffness that life was miserable. I still have s lot of weight to lose but have developed a love of walking and walk and exercise regularly.

Well done and thanks for posting. Success stories like yours keep me motivated.

Almost the same situation. If we did it before we can do it again!! I hope. Good luck

I was in that position just over a year ago and now 80lb down, active and strong. I still have pain in my knees from arthritis but it doesn't stop me being active. Good luck, take it steady and you can do it!

You look fantastic! Well done :-)

Fantastic! You both look as though you are living life!

To get back on track after a tricky summer holiday. I want to get back on a losing streak, however slowly.

A great thing to aim for-it really motivated me to get fitter and now I'm hooked on walking!

There is a a website for the St. Cuthbert Way which will give you lots of info. We booked B&B each night and had a company move our bags so that we only had to carry a day pack!! It's definitely worth walking, or just pick out parts of it!

We did it over a few days in a row. It really was fabulous.
-
Fantastic-well done for reclaiming your life!
-
Great start, well done!

Well I managed the walk and it was fantastic-a combination of gel, icing my knees and knee supports got me through! Just about to post a success story if you want to see more!

Thanks for sharing that advice and your experience. It is great to hear from someone who has lost and maintained because ultimately that's what we're all aiming for. Btw.....you look amazing!

You are doing brilliantly. My experience is that weight loss slows as you get closer to your goal so it's important not to let those weekends get in the way of your goal. For me finding a balance is key. I've reached the point now where I am happy if the trend is downwards with my weight loss and I don't worry about how…

Fantastic! You have done a fabulous job. Well done.
-
Thanks for sharing your story-just fantastic! A reminder that we can all get there in the end.
-
Well done for reclaiming your life! You look amazing and you must feel better too. I'm with you on the difficult days-for some of us that just doesn't go away but the odd day won't harm things-we're learning to find a balance I guess.
-
That is a big change-well done
-
Fantastic! You're on your way!
