-
@rfsatar that’s such good news! The circumstances might not be ideal, but I’m sure you can make it work!
-
3/10 Cals. 1476. Oops Carbs. 61. Double oops Exercise. Yes! Happiness: we had a lovely hike to a beer garden that is secretly open. (Shhhh). Hence the overage on the cals and carbs. Totally worth it though. Beautiful day.

What a lovely idea! If i didn’t have the artistic talent of a preschooler I would give that a try!
-
I hope you feel better! And congrats on the improved labs! That’s a real achievement!

3/9 Cals. 1278 Carbs. 49 Exercise 30 mins plus 11k steps

3/8 Cals and carbs— fine, just fine Exercise— none, but 14k steps Feeling bleh. Anyone else?

3/6-7 Great weekend with lots of exercise. I wish I could get my Garmin to understand the difference between hiking and walking. It gave me credit for “leisurely pace” on what was a rigorous uphill hike. Oh well. Cals and carbs were well under, but the scale was not cooperative this morning and there’s no change from last…

You are amazing!
-
Ouch! I hope you feel better soon!

3/3-3/4 I keep forgetting to check in so I guess I’d better up my game on the mindfulness 😂 Carbs under 50 ✅✅ Cals 1237, 1194 ✅✅ Exercise ✅❌ Had a lovely zoom with our daughter and my father last night. We are all on different continents and I miss them so much. So that was my very, very happy thing.
-
3/2 Cals way too low. Felt kinda crummy and food was not appealing. Therefore, exercise fell by the wayside as well. Much better today!
-
3/1 Cals and carbs in line Exercise 31 mins It was sunny! Bring on the vitamin D.
-
It’s a new month! As an easily distracted person, I appreciate the mindfulness angle. So this month I plan to: Keep carbs <50 Calories 1200-1300 plus any meaningful exercise calories Intentional exercise 4 days a week Find something to be happy about every day
-
2/28 Calories and carbs in range Exercise completed So I measured to chart my progress as at the beginning of the month I did not have a working scale. Results: Bust: No change Waist: No change Lower abdomen: -2 inches. Yay! Hips. -1 inch. Yay! Thigh: No change. All in all I’m happy with that. Bring on March!
-
That’s awesome! Congratulations!
-
2/25-26 Busy couple of days! Calories and carbs on point. Exercise....not so much. I’m looking forward to measuring Monday! My jeans feel a little looser.
-
I love the dancing part! I need to crank up the tunes during the day.
-
Scooping out the bread is genius! I’ll have to try that.
-
Oops, I dropped the ball on checking in. Carbs, cals and exercise have all been fine. Not great but...fine. I really hope to see some progress March 1 when I measure!
-
2/19 I had a day of voracious on-plan eating. Didn’t eat anything carby, but stopped trying to track at dinner. Feel much better today. Steps✅ 11k— nothing to brag about. Exercise❌—none, really Miss my wine! I think it may act as an appetite suppressant. Don’t let that crazy scale get you down! Maybe it needs new batteries?
-
Ha, the shower I had to take afterwards probably would!
-
2/18 Carbs 23✅ Calories 1260✅ Exercise ❌ Household: the kitchen drain is leaking so I had to pull out the cabinet and clean up a big mess. Still not fixed. Ugh.
-
What is up with the way MFP is randomly formatting text into columns, anyhow?
-
2/17 Carbs 12✅ Calories 1116-close enough ✅ Exercise-20 minute walk plus 16ksteps— not the greatest, but ✅ Housework ❌ First day of no-wine Lent✅ Maybe I should try for no-whine Lent too.
-
2/16 Carbs. 73❌ Cals. 1312—ok with exercise✅ Exercise✅ Household—I turned on the robo vacuum. Does that count? You guys, I am giving up wine for Lent. Yikes!

Great attitude! We have to be adaptable. The “all or nothing” mentality is a goal-killer for sure.
