I have been losing rather steady but have gained water weight this week. I know it is water weight because I have not eaten enough to gain weight. Although I was successful decades ago, it a new venture for me. I am a lot older. Still, does anybody know how to drain the water? I am considering bullet proof coffee.

I had 48 carbs with 21 fiber today and it did not knock me out of ketosis. I was trying a new combination. All carbs at breakfast and lunch. Green olives and avocados which are 1/2 or more fiber. 1 Tablespoon of tamarind to heal the liver. Wait and see if it stalls my weight loss.

Thinking back to the show, I think it is what the website "ThatHealsThat.com" says: For every diet and even for remedies, there are 1/3 for whom it works exceedingly great, 1/3 that it works OK; and 1/3 that it does not work at all and could even be negative for the person. Keto is the only way I can lose weight.

A second comment. The best thing you can do is distract yourself with any activity so you don't fixate on food or your diet. Plant a garden. Learn to play guitar. Knit an afghan. Play online games. Go swing at the park.

The only people that could do 70 pounds in a month are those with tremendous water weight. And they would have hanging skin. I have seen it. One man did an IV of lasix and lost 50 pounds. A gallon of water weighs 8.34 pounds. 70 pounds is about 8 gallons of water. And it can come back just as quick.

I have not lost in over a week. In fact, I gained but did not enter that on my weight tracker because I have not eaten enough to gain any weight so I am hopeful that it is water gain before the whoosh....but still, it's been about ten days.

The Manichevitz blackberry wine improved my medical problem but not enough to go to work so it was old faithful Immodium to the rescue. I am back to modify what I just said. The people that do a cyclic keto diet...have carb up cheat days. That is the way that program works. See body builders, etc. For me, I am resetting my body...to burn fat...to have a weight reset point. Also, it dissolves tumors. Fat tumors do not reduce from regular low calorie diets.…
