It is hard on your kidneys, but not a huge problem unless you have other kidney issues.
-
I don't? I have some health issues where I need to limit protein to not stress my kidneys, but you don't need that much.
-
I have to measure it carefully, but yes it has to be Hellman's or Best Foods as it's called west of the Rockies where I've lived most of my life. (I did live in the Midwest for a few years.) They even have the same commercials with just different brand names inserted!

I just ate ice cream. It helped reach some goals- I needed a little more protein and calcium. It has sugar, but it also has things I needed in an enjoyable form.

Check your medications, in addition to it being a fad, grapefruit also interacts with several medications.

It's not easy to eat less. It's work.

With your medical issues I'd talk to your doctor and get a referral to a registered dietitian. They know better than those of us with no medical training and only the basic background of your issues. I have mild kidney issues, and my dietary limitations are minor compared to what they can be. FWIW, I was 170 and have been…

Unless it's a single serving package, use both.
-
No- that should only be between a medical doctor and a patient.

I've lost weight with bits of candy in my diet.

What activity level is your MFP set to? If it's higher than sedentary it only kicked in when you went over the level of steps for that activity level.

My great grandfather was a butcher. My great grandma who played tennis every morning still developed diabetes in the 1950's. My grandmother and her brother also developed type 2 diabetes.

My mom figured out I was a very early reader when I was sitting in the grocery cart and she'd hand me stuff to put in the cart and I'd read stuff off the label to her. Nearly 40 years ago. I can say that I've pretty much read labels as long as I've read. My brother used to refuse to pass stuff to us at dinner- like…

For me it's cows milk. I have some medical needs that make nut and soy milks inappropriate, and coconut milk doesn't have as much calcium as I need because of the same medical issue. Goat or sheep's milk would work for me too, but are more expensive and harder to find. What does your body need?
-
No, there are two main reasons for type 2 diabetes. Weight and genetics.
-
Why would I be a pound heavier if I drink a can of Coke a day? That makes no sense. If I work it into my calories it doesn't cause more weight gain than any other calories.

Tingling can be harmless to serious. I get it when my potassium is low. My body just has potassium issues, so I take prescription supplements. It's worth talking to your doctor.

Don't post on an internet message board, call poison control or the doctor. But chances are nothing is going to happen. Eating spoiled food doesn't guarantee food poisoning. Our stomach acid is good at killing most things.

Stress or busyness will do that to me. If I see it happening for too many days in a row I force myself to eat, but it usually passes.

Do you eat in a cafeteria or have your own kitchen. If a cafeteria, use things like the salad bar. If on your own, things like rice and pasta are cheap and make good bases for meals.

There are many. Allergies the most common. But your doctor would know more. Photos don't show measurements. Have you measured it?
-
Talk to your doctor, the only things I can think of would be medical issues. Unless it's just perception as your body gets smaller.

Look up some Mediterranean diet or DASH diet books, the AHA recommends them. But you don't have to stick with them. Use them for ideas.
-
Lol. My niece wouldn't eat peanut butter for a long time because she associated it with the dog's chew toy.
-
Blood sugar spikes don't cause diabetes.

I'm going to add- allergies of any sort can develop at any time. But it's best to see your doctor. They can help you figure out the cause, and rashes can happen with airborne, food, and contact allergies. But it's better to figure out what it is, and then deal with it. It's not good to just eliminate random stuff. Another…

I'm going to guess that seasonal allergies are the most likely culprit. Their symptoms aren't only sniffy and sneezing.

She knows what's causing the low blood pressure, the medicine to slow down the high heart rate, which is what the doctors think is just genetic.

I do a bunch of medium "boiled" eggs on Sunday to their in my lunch with other stuff I have around. I use my instant pot, and it's quick and they perl easily. Hard boiling them and making egg salad to eat on sandwiches, wraps or just greens is easy too.

Your doctor's advice sounds pretty standard. I'd ask him for a number or range to hit for liquids and sodium too.
