This is so true, I actually dont mind so much if it was worth it...like a nice 3 course meal with lots of wine.......hate it when I binge on kids leftovers or whatever rubbish is in the fridge. Definitely make it worth it!

I just had 3-nights in a row where I overdone it...I reached a mini goal I had set myself for a dress fitting and got carried away over the weekend. Lol im just same as everyone else, if I gain a bit then I do this....im not constantly on a diet for 20 yrs. Your twisting what I said. I dont include alcohol calories when I try to lose weight...never have.

Your gonna hate me lol but I never said I eat 1200, I eat 1400-1500. I lose 6lbs a month eating what mfp sets me as well as wine. I really dont know why people have such a problem with that, iv said it works FOR ME! Im not deluded, im well aware as I get closer to goal I will need to revaluate but until then ill keep doing…

I can determine it because im 40lbs lighter, I.didnt say it will work for everyone, I just answered the OPs question. Works for me and I always eat all the calories mpf sets for me with wine easily 500 calories on.top of that for 2 small glasses.

Iv never counted alcohol in calories, I.dont believe 800 cals in a bottle of wine is the same as 800 calories of cake regardless of what people say. My body says different. The difficult part is ensuring u dont give into the food cravings that alcohol causes, which is why I limit wine to a glass or two.

Alcohol does make u regular, and prob the reason alot of people are lighter after a particularly heavy weekend on the booze.....but its dehydration. The calories do catch up with you. Especially if you give into those heavy cravings the next day. I dont count the odd glass of wine because if I limit my calories to allow it…

I eat whatever I want, but there are some things I have decided not to include anymore only because I dont do tiny portions and find theyre not worth the calories. Such as full fat hard cheese, cream, anything deep fried in batter and real butter, pastry.Luckily iv not got a sweet tooth.

Im 15 stone (think thats 210). Im 5'11 and have just bought a UK size 14 pair of jeans, at my heaviest 17'10 I was an UK 18/20. Bought size 16 jeans last month and they already fall down at the hip. Depends on brand, I like higher waist jeans with a,bit of stretch to hold me in lol

Search low cal meals on pinterest if u have it. I get loads new reccomendations daily and have so many recipes to try ill never get through them all.

Wow.....just changed it and its took 200 calories from me. Im losing on average 6 lbs a month, on second thoughts I think id rather eat those 200 cals than see a faster weight loss. Im already starving lol, really need those 200 cals.

Thankyou for the replies, its not something I even thought about until I recently checked my goals and seen I was at 'lightly active'. I think im probably sedentary, maybe changing it will speed things up a little, thankyou.

Hot wings are high calorie, so is anything from burger king. Im wiling to bet your eating more than 500 cals., as others have said get a food scale and log log log. It does sound alot of calories for someone of a reasonably healthy weight for your height but if your very active then not so sure. Hopefully someone else can answer your question, I.didnt wanna read and run. I am 5'11, 29lbs heavier than you and I would gain on 2400 cals but im not active at all.

You need to stick to 1200, thats a dangerously low amount your eating. If your struggling to eat that try adding some light meals like a sandwich or bowl of cereal......weigh out nuts or grapes and graze on them as u go about your day.

Check your eating all the fat that mfp sets for u. I was only eating 30 grams of fat per day thinking I was doing well to eat a lower fat diet. I was always hungry. My first 6 weeks I lost 16lbs, 8 of which I lost in the 1st week.......but now im losing on average 6-7lbs because things have slowed as they do.

I dont count it, if I did id be starving by end of the day and would be more likely to binge......so as long as I dont indulge in more than a glass or two I still lose steadily. Im not really a fan of sweets but I do have a cadburys crunchie (150 cals for the muktipack one) or even a galaxy. Not really alot of calories for proper chocolate. I lose water weight the morning after too much alcohol and gain water weight the day after a food binge....it evens out after a couple of days though.....youv not gained 4lbs of fat so I wouldnt worry.

Thank you for the replies, Yeh I do agree food seems more filling when it's higher in fat. I love peanut butter too but haven't had any in months, this might just be the thing that staves off those late at night hunger pangs. Thank you all.

I don't weigh lettuce....or herbs, some condiments and some vegetables either. If iv had a gain or even stayed the same usually a McDonald's or Chinese takeaway is the culprit.... and not that lettuce I didn't weigh.
