I'm 5'2 started at 148 now 125. Definitely slimmer and lost a dress size but my stubborn tummy and thighs just wont go lol. Goal is 115 but I feel with more excercise I won't need to go any lower but we will see.

As soon as I moved I bought myself a cookbook for college and uni students, since it's more aimed for young adults leaving home for the first time the recipes are simple and they explain how to budget your money and plan ahead. They also use items you would normally have around the house for measuring like a standard mug.…

I eat 1400 cals on average per day, 5ft2, aged 22 and light activity. I lose about 0.5lbs per week on average.

Took me 3 months to lose 10lbs comfortably, however I have to admit my lack of enthusiasm for excercise might have held me back lol

I remember going on holiday to America once when I was in my early teens (I live in the UK) and I was super shocked by how BIG all the food was, pancakes stacked like towers on my plate! Large burgers bigger than my head! Also everything tasted much diffrent.... like they put a lot of sugar/salt in everything?
-
I didnt even notice I gained a stone until my jeans stopped fitting lol For a while I was really ill and couldn't walk for months, but I only gained the weight after I recovered because I got so use to not moving around but I could always get up to go out for fancy meals haha

Be prepared to wait, nothing happens overnight sadly lol

I always bounce up on the scales by about 5lbs, so whenever Im on TOM I just stay away from the scales for a few days. Like you said its very disheartening to see the sudden increase. Dont worry just wait it out :)

First month always has alot of ups and downs due to water weight, just be sure to weigh yourself the same time every week and stay positive :)
-
I only binge at night when Ive not had enough sleep or had dinner way earlier than usual, maybe have dinner a little later than usual?
-
I've never been a sweet tooth but almost every night I have a cup of tea (no sugar) and a chocolate biscuit, keeps the cravings at bay if I know I will get my reward in the end. But its far to easy to have another biscuit, and another, and another.... just stay strong and remember to keep to your goal! :)

Mum: Did you lose weight? Me: (omg someone finally noticed!) Mum: must be the boots, they make you look taller Me: (So close...)

Logging streak reminds me how well I've done and how long I have kept myself going :) very motivating! But I lost my streak recently due to no internet and it was so disappointing :s
-
Im 5ft2 and Im hoping to achieve 115-120 but like the others have said, its what makes you feel most comfortable :)
-
Congrats! You look fab :D

I lose weight very slowly so I can never see the diffrence with the naked eye, I use old clothes to determine how much Ive lost and take a few full body photos once a month :)
