When I was going alone it was a tough grind day to day. Depression crept back in so it was even more difficult for awhile. I also didn't have many friends around. I have made 5 new friends who now go to the gym with me. Couple of older friends don't go anymore so I have recruited some younger guys to go with me. I am lucky…

Then work on managing a deficit.

You will need to be macro specific once you get decently lean and want to get leaner. If you have a lot of weight to lose start with a deficit and work on managing that deficit. Yes you can go over carbs but if you are in a deficit you will lose weight. Not knowing how lean you are currently it's hard to give you specific…

Lol. The misc of bb.com is a joke. Go there is you want a laugh OP.

No you don't have to stick to only cardio. Strength training will help preserve muscle mass so once you lose the weight you will look better.
-
WIthout being a creep I have to say that is one banging body.
-
You know way more than I do so just disregard what I said. Good luck.
-
You are eating more than you think.
-
@Golbat why a golbat? What is a golbat anyway?
-
Get a food scale. Weigh all your foods and log. Eat 1200 calories plus some of your exercise calories back (40-50%). Foods high in protein and fiber will keep you feeling fuller for longer. Good luck.

Just work it within your daily calories. Or if you save up calories use drinks to fill those calories. I am a binge drinker (usually takes close to 15-20 shots to get me drunk). I also have the ability to not drink for months on end. I don't crave it enough on a daily basis to work it within my calories but if I did I…

Meal timing is irrelevant unless you are following a specific IF protocol. Even then you need to be in a calorie deficit. What works for me? I eat whenever I am hungry.
-
I log it under cardio. Doing weights for 90 mins under cardio gives me 200 cals. I am lifting very heavy and with intensity so I doubt 200 cals is accurate. You also have to take into account after burn calories. IMO it is a reasonable estimate for the moment/for that day's work. So I log it and move on.

Seems a little low to me for a male. Depending on your intensity levels and how frequently you go to the gym you may want to eat those calories back. Try it at 1500 calories and if you lose weight too quickly up your calories. It's a process of trial and error. It would help if you knew your maintenance calories.

At this point it's about how my body looks and not as much about the scales. Previously about once a week which is not too frequent. Not concerned about one particular area as I am about the whole body look.
-
Yes it's all about a calorie deficit. You can eat tubs of Ben and Jerry's but as long as you are in a deficit you will lose weight.
-
I don't know what I am.
-
For basic calorie tracking. Yes I have lost weight with it.
-
This. Your body needs less energy to maintain itself so you have to eat less. You don't have to cut a lot of calories. Start with maybe 200 calories and then gradually taper down.
-
That is not a bad thing. Maybe in their eyes you look better than how you think of yourself. People think how people think. Take the good with the bad.
-
Hollaback dawg.
-
This. You don't have to lift weights. But a warning you can't have your cake and eat it too.
-
Are you weighing your foods and logging accurately? Usually those are the culprits. For a woman there could be more variables but start with weighing your foods and tighter logging. In the beginning I quickly lost weight but it slowed down (as expected) as time went on. I had be more careful about what I ate and how much…

They can be different. However you pick the one that is closest in estimate to the manufacturer label. Your total calories consumed and what MFP recommends are still estimates at the end. You just have to be in the ballpark. If you are not losing weight you need to reassess if you are weighing your foods properly and/or…

The pictures clearly show the way he trains works for him. It may not be for everybody. It is not 'bad' for aesthetics. There is nothing wrong with what he is doing. Dude your program is not 'whack'. The results clearly speak for themselves. Congratulations. Watch someone get mad and flag my comment. Lol.

Is it possible? YES. Is it sustainable? NO.

For me ATM premium isn't worth it.

Because

Perhaps but she needs to eat more if she is that drained.

40c/30f/30p seems like a conventional split. You will need to be more macro specific if you are lifting (or you are lean trying to get leaner), but even then that split should work. On this site it is recommended you eat back half your exercise calories. Good luck.
