Same here. I never heard of any of these. But then again I don't watch a lot of TV.

At this rate you will be ripped in no time.

Either you eat more (assuming you are measuring your foods) to decrease your or you carry on. If you have a lot of weight to lose you can probably get away with a big deficit but eventually it will catch up to you. Instead of 1300 cals try 1800 or 2000 cals. The weight loss will be slower but sustainable.

I feel very good about them. I eat the food, log and then go on to the next day.

Calorie deficit. You don't need to do weight lifting or cardio. Weight lifting in a deficit will help keep your muscles while cardio will increase your deficit. That simple.

Chocolate and nuts (fats) come to mind. Instead of plain rice I usually fry with 2 tbsp of oil and that usually increases the calorie count. All the above suggestions are good. Peanut butter will help you get there. When you get really hungry eat a little bit more to up your calorie count. Thank you for your service and…

Not it is not a myth.

Sorry to say this but you also seem very creepy.

pints and pints of ice cream

You lost me on herbalife.

It may.

Slim 100-120 lbs with a nice butt and beautiful straight hair. I am a normal guy I like a normal girl (not too out of shape) with a sense of humor and intelligence.

If you have that amount of dedication to lose 120 pounds I certainly believe sometime soon you will see your abs. As others have said just log it and move on. 1 or 2 5000 calorie days never hampered my progress (as long as you don't make a habit of it). The grind is for the long haul. Again congratulations on the weight…
-
Yes just log it as cardio. Depending on how intense your workout is you could be burning anywhere from 200 to 500+ calories.
-
Congratulations on being 20 pounds down. Unfortunately I am adding friends very selectively at the moment. I don't like my feed to be cluttered. I wish you all the best though.

Combination of lifting/cardio along with a deficit.

@TR0berts Can you build muscle while in a deficit? Yes Yes it should be assumed it is the first law. Why would I be talking about anything relating to entropy or disorder? I do not need to be pedantic in a random internet forum. Thankfully you are to fill my void. If you believe you can build muscle in a deficit good for…

I said 'maybe'. It does not mean a definite yes. Your logic is very strong.
-
No you cannot. Maybe if you are a complete beginner. It goes against the law of thermodynamics.
-
I have yet to figure that out. Wish me luck.

weight loss and muscle gain while eating a deficit This is nearly impossible.

21 days of keto will not do jack *kitten* for you. It may if you couple it with 2-4 hours of cardio and heavy lifting. Good luck with that.
-
From around Maghrib to before Fajr I would split my food into two 800 calorie meals and count that as a days worth of food. You don't need to eat 1600 calories all at once. Your sehri should count as your second meal. Good luck.

Your personal trainer is a fool. It's not that simple. It will most likely be water retention. You will build some muscle but not to the extent he is describing.
-
Unfortunately we are in the minority. To me it's a glorified pedometer. It always will be.
-
It's all in your head. Put some music on, blast it to full volume and focus on what you are going to do/how you are going to do.
-
You are grossly misinformed.

Think of this as intermittent fasting. Within 3-4 hours you have to eat your allotted calories. Eat as much as you can to get to your goal calories. Even if you can't try to hit the protein number since you will be lifting. Some people can train heavy on low calories others cannot. You have to decide based on your energy…
