Haha this made me laugh.. the actual desired portion of pasta is nowhere near the serving size! Another option is spaghetti squash. Strings like spaghetti and creates more volume with less carbs/cals!

It's all essentially calories in vs. calories out. If you are taking more calories in than you are expending out, then you are likely going to gain. In order to lose fat, you need to put your body in a deficit. @erindimondfitness on Instagram is a great resource

I would recommend looking into IIFYM. At the very least, it'll be able to help you look into your daily calorie expenditure and what an appropriate daily calorie allotment would be for you and your goals.
