  • I like to stirfry some garlic and kale with chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper (southwest seasonings, basically), add half a cup of chickpeas or black beans, and top with a poached egg. If your macros allow, a slice of toast makes this a really satisfying meal at any time of day. I also sometimes add cubed sweet potato.
  • I cheat occasionally and I don't feel guilty for it. You have to build a lifestyle that's sustainable for you, and for most people that means occasionally being able to go out, worry-free, to have a meal or drinks or spend a day not worrying about macros.
  • Exercise. Even when you don't feel like it (or especially when), go for a walk or run a mile or ride an exercise bike. Activity increases endorphin levels and elevates your mood.
