Mine and my husband's stopped syncing earlier today as well. We have the Ionic and the Charge 2. We both tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no luck. Very frustrating.

My daughter and i just finished at the gym - neither of our workouts synced to MFP. She has the Charge 2 and I have the Blaze.

I have a few recent ones. I did my very first 5K on Halloween weekend and it included 17 obstacles. I am 52 years old and can't believe it. I dragged my daughter along so she got her first in a lot earlier than I did! We're looking at an 8K in December that goes through a Christmas light display. My husband and I went away…

I have to take jackets with me everywhere I go! The really fun thing is that I found some on sale for $3.99 in the kids section and an XL fits! I stocked up so I can keep one in each of our cars and in acouple of spots around the house. It's a very welcome, unexpected benefit. We're under a heat advisory yet again today.…

I started at 247 and am now 135ish. I'm 5'6". And I forgot to mention but I was 51 years old when I started so this can be done at a somewhat advanced age. Yes, if I can do it, you can too! I have no idea what finally got me motivated - I have/had no health issues - but hubby and I wandered up to the local gym one day last…

Thank you all. I found these success stories very inspiring when I started so I thought I should pay it forward! I didn't really do anything special other than being very honest and diligent about logging and getting my butt to the gym every single day, usually twice, with cardio in the morning and strength training in the…

I am 52 and lost 110 lbs over a year to get to a healthy weight. I did (and still do) regular, pretty intense weight training along with a lot of cardio and watching my food intake. I had quite a bit of loose skin, to the point that clothing wouldn't fit properly because my waist size was bigger than the rest of my body.…

My most recent NSV is that we bought seasons tickets to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA last week. I haven't been to either in a very long time, never with either of my kids (aged 16 and 20). We went to Busch on Friday and Sunday and I had a blast. I had plenty of energy to walk all over the park, climb stairs and…

My most recent NSVs: I needed a zip front jacket because of some surgery that meant I couldn't wear anything pullover. I consulted the size charts and ordered an XL zip front hoodie... from the youth section!! It was $5 cheaper than the adult version and it fits. I don't hide from the camera any more. From our daughter's…

Great job and I love your philosophy! I've lost 110 lbs to go from the verge of morbid obesity to a healthy weight since last summer with the same plan - nothing off limits as long as I stay in my calorie limit. I did go over one day - last Sunday, but am really ready to start maintenance and was within my deficit so I'm…

I found this recipe recently - 1 Tablespoon flaxseeds, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. I'm not a big cottage cheese fan but I like this. I ate 4 servings this week.

My husband talked me into riding his motorcycle with him this past weekend. I was able to wear my 16 year old daughter's riding jacket. My healthy weight 16 year old daughter's riding jacket, that is. And it's fitted. And she got it a few years ago when hubby first got his motorcycle. From 2XL and 3XL sizes to my…

I've lost 108 lbs and have eaten bread every week. Bread is something I don't miss terribly so it isn't worth the calories to me (chocolate is another issue) but the local restaurant we go to every Friday night has amazing bread so I budget for a piece. I enjoy every single calorie. I also found some low cal (40…

Hubby went running off to grab his phone while I was doing squats last night - he said he had to take a picture to show me something. I figured I was favoring one side or doing something wrong so he wanted me to be able to see it. No, he wanted to show me my back muscles at work - I couldn't believe how muscular my back…

You've probably done this but I didn't see it mentioned - don't forget to update your weight in MFP regularly so your calorie limit is adjusted. I started with a 1650 calorie per day limit and an down to 1200 after losing a bit. I'm within 7 lbs of my goal; it definitely slows down as you get close. Another thing that can…

I have a couple in the last 2 days: - I raided my daughter's closet this morning for something to wear with a dress and one of her cardigans fit! - I had a consultation with two plastic surgeons this week to see what they recommend about my loose skin and was told that my muscle tone is "excellent" - it was funny because…

I wanted to update because I've met two of mine and am closer to the third: I'm not there yet but closer - I've moved steadily up the stack and am only using 35 lbs of assistance now. I will get there. I did this just this morning for the first time! I work from home so generally get to dress in whatever but I had a client…

At this point, 100 lbs down, 10ish to go, having logged for 204 days, I can't imagine not logging. I also can't imagine why you shouldn't. If it helps you lose or maintain, I just can't see the harm. How could logging you food be worse than gaining back what you lost? If I ever were to get to the point where I thought it…

The reading I've done says it's the total that counts so three 10 minute workouts is as good as one 30 minute workout in a day. Personally, I prefer to spread mine out; I do 2 workouts - cardio in the morning and weights (with a short cardio warm up and cool down) at night. I feel like it gets my heart rate up twice a day…

My husband makes a chicken parm type meal with spaghetti squash instead of the pasta. He's the cook in the family but basically he cooks the squash in the microwave, scrapes it into a casserole dish, spreads canned tomatoes, a little tomato paste and some spices over the squash. Then he puts grilled chicken on top and…

Nothing terribly special. I log my food carefully, even bought a small scale to stick in my purse for meals away from home, stay within my calorie goal every day, and work out regularly, both cardio and strength training. Found substitutes to reduce calories - low carb wraps (50 calories), use plain Greek yogurt with ranch…

I was 247 when I started on July 20th and 190 on November 19th - 57 lbs in 4 months. I was bordering on morbidly obese - I wouldn't recommend losing that quickly if you're not significantly overweight. My rate of loss has slowed significantly as I've gotten closer to my goal weight. I'm 51 years old, watch my calories and…

Thanks to all for the kind comments. I still can't believe this picture. And our daughter has been funny. She started going to the gym with us last November. She doesn't go every night but she does go pretty regularly. She's at the point in school where they don't have to take gym any more so this is a good thing. She is…

I've lost 96 lbs and think I have 10-15 to go based on the scale but I'm not sure how much of that is excess skin. I'm 51 so am not counting on much of this to go away on its own. I weight train pretty hard - I'm actually pretty happy with my arms and legs. We watched an episode of Extreme Weight Loss over the weekend that…

I am out in a little black dress. And it's a medium! I started this as a 2XL last summer. I can't believe it!

I've lost 86 lbs and have been told both that I look older and that I look younger. I'm 51. I know I'm healthier, more energetic and quite a bit stronger - I feel younger.

We added one recently that could easily be done at home. We're watching Biggest Loser for the first time and saw this there. I don't know what it's called but you stand with your feet about shoulder width apart. Place a dumbbell next to the foot opposite the hand you want to start with. Squat down, pick up the dumbbell…

I started enjoying it when I started seeing results. Seeing my biceps appear and the muscles in my forearm gain definition helped. And my quads are really muscular. Someone showed me a website, strengthlevel.com, and I'm getting encouragement from watching my strength level increase. It compares your lifts to others in…

Feel free to add me. I'm 51 and have lost 86 lbs in 7 months (26 to go) through portion control and exercise (cardio and lifting).

The manager at the gym told me about a web site where you can enter your lifting information and see how you compare to others in your age and weight group - strengthlevel.com . I entered my bench press and squat information: I'm pleased as I've only been lifting for about 6 months and I started on just the machines. I…
