Sending photos to my mom (we live 3 provinces apart and only see each other once a year) and being proud of how I look instead of dreading her reaction.

I don't typically eat back my calories unless I feel very hungry. I do however plan into my day a pre-lift snack and post lift session meal that helps keep me properly fuelled. I think it's like most things where you have to try some different methods and see what works for your body as everyone is different.

You can add me. The key to sticking with exercise is really doing something you enjoy...we have all heard it a million times before but it's absolutely true.

Amazing transformation! You look so much younger. Great work.

To just be me...always...instead of trying to be what everyone else needs/wants When you first think you don't love him...any of them..it's because you don't. Stop trying to make it work Don't let anyone stop you from pursuing anything you want too. You will accomplish it and that's why they hate the idea, it makes them…

Great work! It's so exciting to be in the 100 club! You can definitely see a difference.

That's amazing progress and the dead lift....yeah!!!

Yes and I agree with other posters that I receive more negative comments now than when I was heavy. People say things like "you're obsessed" and "you're getting to small." I have also had a lot of negative comments in regards to the exercise I choose. I lift 3x per week and box for conditioning/cardio and good ol' fashion…

How when you get closer to goal weight some people's comments are just as negative as when you were obese. I lift 3x per week and can lift more than most of the instructors in the class and yet I often hear "you're getting scrawny" from one particular person. Drives me batty!

I do it 2-3times a week and am able to add it in.

"Advice" I have actually received from Doctors.... 1. "When you eat a cookie or something sweet, simply chew it and spit it out. This is all you need to do to lose weight." 2. "In order to lose weight properly you need to eat only lean meat, and green vegetables. No whole grains, no fruit. If you can commit to this for the…

That's awesome progress! I agree that it's nice to see women lifting and embracing it!

Had a goal that when I hit 80lbs down I would join a real boxing gym...although I'm still 2lbs from that goal, tonight was my first strength and conditioning class. I did the whole class and was able to keep up no problem. I even had two of the coaches ask me if I had boxed previously.

That is both awesome and funny :)

That motivation will come and go but by building better habits it's easier to push through the hard days because you are basically on autopilot and driving to the gym before you even have time to argue with yourself

Twice baked stuffed potato with a grilled tenderloin and Italian red wine for the finish....daydreams are made of this.

Love the gif!

Three 6 Mafia - It's a fight. Love this song before boxing class!

Thanks and you are so close! You should post when you do so we can all celebrate your success!

Made it to Onederland this morning at 199.8lbs! Down just over 70lbs since September 2015 and honestly don't think I have been here in about 5 years.

The Black Keys. Next: Country Thunder - too long of a lineup to list.

One word...Amazing!

Over estimating how much meat was in my portion which lead to protein/fat deprivation which caused major hair loss! Solved it by buying a food scale.

I wish I would have thought of something that clever! I honestly just blinked for about 5 seconds while it sunk in and then started laughing.
-
That although you become more noticeable to men, their pick up lines won't necessarily improve. "Hey, did you know beast mode doesn't end in the gym?" I am still laughing about this one.
