This little guy and his black lab brother think it's play time every time I start my yoga. They even try to jump on my treadmill with me, which I'm hoping stays unsuccessful.

What if that calculation is under 1200 calories a day? I've heard people on here say 1200 is the minimum intake to keep weight loss healthy?

I struggle too! I agree with the "just do it" advice. It seems silly but it's what works. I fell off track and had to really set my mind to not give in. I have no idea about the sugar but I am doing a modified medifast where I incorporate fruits and yogurt. I know of you follow medifast strictly it puts you under 1000 calories and from what I've read that's not the best for sustained weight loss. I'm just to find a balance so I can lose it and keep it off. Sorry I'm no help

Awesome! I will look into it. I just like that I am not starving all morning when I don't have time to snack. The chia seeds help keep me not as hungry. They are expensive though.

Awesome! I didn't think of them as a weight loss aide either. I just wanted to know if they were a good addition or not. I eat a tablespoon (measured) in the morning so I am not super hungry before lunch because I don't always have time to grab a quick snack and I eat them in the evening. I'm with you! I'm glad I'm not the only one doing medifast. I really like to see that there is weight loss off of the medifast plan as long as you are under your calorie limit. It gives me hope that when I lose the weight I can eat regular food as long as I stay under that limit.

I did last year for 7 months. Lost 45 lbs and then I got busy with life and stopped following. I gained 15 lbs and am back to following it.
