I had both, surge and HR, while the surge was great and had a lot of cool features. I felt it was a little too big. The HR is perfect and still has plenty of features.

Okay then, thanks again for another irrelevant post. Your help has been greatly appreciated.
-
Thank you Connie. You've been a lot of help.
-
I do, thank you. I already called him and I'm meeting him Sunday for our first session. I appreciate your help :)

Apparently you've never played paintball, nor tried to jump over a 4ft wall when on the run, while trying not to get hit playing capture the flag. *kitten* happens, I tweaked my back. I'm not Lebron, I don't get paid to jump. Thanks for your helpful post.

Never once claimed a poor squat rack was the reason for any back pain. Learn to read. I said it was disappointing. And its because I don't feel comfortable going higher without the safety features. So yeah, apparently you are slow. Why be a dick when I'm clearly asking for help and never once attacked you or came at you?…

Thank you Sam...Again, great advice.....And thats why I wanted to start recording myself, sometimes its so hard to see what were doing, so by recording it, we get different angles and yeah...So I appreciate your response, solid advice :)

Look I'm seeking advice on my squat, never once did I claim to be a professional or know it all and if you're just going to be a dbag just stay out of my threads. Mmmkay pumpkin. Your sarcasm is noted...and for the record my back had nothing to do with working out, it was from playing paintball and I jumped over a 4ft wall…

Just want to bump this back up for those that missed it.

Hey guys, I just picked up the new Go Pro Hero 4. It was hard lugging around my Nikon D4 just to record some footage. I'm hoping to start tracking my progress more by recording some of my workouts and hopefully perfect my form, workouts, and my overall knowledge in the fitness community. Go Pro Hero 4 Black Sleek, low…

The one you're currently in. Doesn't matter if it's your regular gym, or if you're on vacation and stuck at the hotel. Whatever gym you're currently in is the best one.

If that's your only goal........... You want women to find you sexy. Work on your personality and becoming a better, more confident, well rounded person. All the muscles and abs in the world won't save you if you're a complete DBag. Well, you probably won't get past the first night at least. Be respectful, kind and…

I appreciate the kind words. I definitely want to help others! I've been tracking things a lot more than I use to, so once I can fine tune every detail I'll definitely have a better understanding what works (for me). And hopefully I can pass that on to people it may benefit. Thank you again :)

Congratulations.

Now that's helpful post! I really appreciate the time you took to write that up. If it would improve my progress all around, I'm all for learning new techniques and trying new things. I only go heavy on the bench once a month. The rest of the weeks are either low weight high reps, super sets or drop sets. And of course…

Well according to some people on this forum, if you're not an expert you shouldn't be giving out advice lol. While I disagree with that attitude towards people. I take everything everyone says and make my own decision based on the facts they provide. My back is flat against the bench. Slightly rounded. My feet are planted.…

And also. If you actually read my first post. I don't claim to be any kind of professional who knows everything, only sharing my person advice, which was requested by another member on this boards. And also, I even said everything listed isn't an exact Hey, I'll take it. Progress is progress. And when I've put on 30lbs of…

I didn't come here claiming anything about nutrition. I came to share a typical workout schedule that someone asked me to share. I will be the first to admit I have no idea what to do when it comes to nutrition other than eating a lot of chicken and rice. My workouts take as much time as they need. Again, nothing is an…
-
Those workouts are just a rough idea of what I do. Not an exact copy of my schedule. And not an exact time frame. Again, it's just for reference to exercises I do and how many sets I try to do. Obviously the more sets you add the longer it would take. I try to keep my rests between 30-60 seconds.

I think I've just built up a tolerance. Of course in the beginning I was only working out 3 times a week. And after a few months I'd go 4 or even 5. Now I'm at 7. Recovery. Hmmmm. I honestly don't get that sore, I drink a crap load of alpha amino. I use pre workout (C4) Alpha amino during. I take creatine. And of course I…

There's plenty of studies that have shown all you need is 48 hours of rest between work outs. So that's what I've been going off of and it seems to be working by the results I'm getting. Now that's not saying, if I took 72 hours I may get better results, maybe I would? But everyone is different. But I like the results I'm…

Hey guys. Finally got around to recording myself. Decided to go for a new PR. 275 no struggle. 295 with a spot. Overall, I'm a little disappointed, but it's definitely progress. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V66zHQ0vNUs

Exactly what KW said, unless you're contest prepping, don't worry about it. If you do good on it, stay on it. Creatine is my number one go to supp.
-
What's you goal? Lose weight, build muscle, etc. I would try to find someone who works out at your gym and see if they can show you some workouts. Compound movements are great. Squats, deadlifts, bench press, etc. Start small and work your way up.
-
I appreciate that guys. I'm here to learn just as must as the next person, and hopefully pass along a little bit of knowledge that I've learned thus far. But when it comes to nutrition, forget it. I'm like a caveman, eat big, get big haha.
-
Thats a great video! Ordered a scale last night, should have a better understanding soon :)
-
You're absolutely right. All it can do is help me in the long run! I'll definitely look into that. (opens amazon to look for a scale haha)
-
I honestly can't wait for that three-four year mark when I start getting shredded haha. I'm just about to cross my first year mark and I'm hooked :) The abs are genetic, they've always been there. I really didn't work for those honestly haha. Hope one day I have a chest like yours!
-
Yeah that 1,200 was a bad example on my part, sorry  haha Thats what the last person said, he thinks I'm eating a lot more...I'm curious now how much I'm actually eating...hmmmmm. haha
-
Hmmmm, you may be right. I'll have to look into that. I bulk cook, I usually cook 10 breasts at a time, and usually 4 steaks for a week. And then I just mix rice, and broccoli in the mix. Cook a bag (Usually feeds 4, I split it evenly into three meals and place everything in a tub container to heat up later) Breakfast is…
