This is the same for me for the most part, although sometimes I will make an easy modification such as having a baked potato when husband and kids are having fries, or add a salad or extra veggie so that I eat less of the high calorie stuff. Adjusting portion sizes (and not eating off the kids' plates) is key!

These are my thoughts as well. Currently at 105.

Thank you for this advice. I have been thinking about the fitbit, and will look into it more closely now. I would love to have a concrete reason to add more calories!

Same situation here, OP. I am 5'3" and maintaining at 120 lbs. I was at 1200 calories to lose, and MFP gave me 1430 to maintain (which surprised and frustrated me). I have been maintaining at that calorie level for about 3 weeks now, but am hoping at some point I will be able to increase the cals a little and still…

Thank you! 1500 is around what I was thinking as well, and I do plan on adding in more regular exercise!

That sounds like a good strategy. Thanks for your input!

Now that's more like it! I will try the gradual increases, though, thank you!

My weight loss rate has actually been pretty steady over the whole 11 week period. So are you saying if my weight loss rate was higher over the last four weeks (than previously), then my maintenance calories would likely be higher?

That is a good idea, and your experience is encouraging! Thank you!
