I'm interested!

My personal opinion? You'd feel a lot better eating more fruits and vegetables. They'll keep you full longer and are less calorie dense. :)

Wait, the app put your goal at 1400 calories a day, but you have 400-800 calories left? You're only eating 600-1000 calories a day? Are you measuring everything (preferably by weight, not with measuring cups)?

I messaged you. :)

I'm a recovering bulimic that went through ACL surgery last winter. Please feel free to add me and we can talk. Stopping purging is the easy part, learning how to eat in a healthy way is much, much harder. /hugs

I just make it my goal to eat the rainbow most days. I don't follow anything specific other than counting calories.
-
Total I want to lose 176 lbs, I'm currently 50 lbs down and just chugging along!
-
I would also look at your micros. Where are you at on iron and b12? Lightheadedness can also be a sign of anemia.
-
I am lactose intolerant. My stomach does okay with some cheese or some yogurt, but milk and ice cream do me in, which then led me to not liking the taste. Every once in a great while I'll have the tiny bottle of FairLife chocolate milk.

Fat isn't the enemy. Why cut it off, it won't save you that many calories?
-
My GI MD had me mix an entire bottle of miralax in two bottles of gatorade that I had to drink and then take a handful of ducolax pills too. It didn't taste bad, but holy cow, I lived in the bathroom.

As a person who once suffered from a severe eating disorder, neither of these would phase me. In fact, switching off the WiFi would just give me more time to work out. OP, he needs counseling, but he also may need medical help as well. I would take him back to his physician and lay everything out on the table. It may take…

You can cut them up in salads, put them on sandwiches, my co-worker just eats them straight as part of his lunch.
-
I have small amounts that fit into my calorie allowance. But the title of this thread :D

I agree with Shadowfax. If you really think you should be losing more, are you sure that you're weighing and logging everything accurately?
-
Are you also physically hungry or are you "psychologically hungry"? Do you stop to make sure you're not bored, angry, lonely, or tired?
-
How are you measuring your food? Scale? Measuring cups? Eyeballing it?
-
I just wanted to point out that you don't have to eat breakfast foods for breakfast. There's no law that you have to have eggs or oatmeal. Have a sandwich, have a salad, eat what you like. This doesn't needs to be a miserable experience.

Do you have a functioning liver and kidneys? Yes? Then there's absolutely no reason to do a "cleanse", there's no scientific evidence that they get rid of anything other than money in your bank account.
-
Feel free to add me! I'm recovering from ACL surgery and trying to lose weight at the same time. :)

People think they're being supportive, they don't understand how annoying it is. You know what your goals are, that they're realistic. :)

Honestly, if you're positive you're not eating more calories than you're recording, I think it could be worth checking in with your doctor. Get your thyroid checked (TSH and free T4). Are you on any medication that causes weight gain (i.e. gabapentin)?
-
You'll probably get a lot of people talking about how bad "diet drugs" are on here. They are a tool, just like anything else. They can aid you, but they can't do the work for you.

I hate when monsters get in my bra. :s
-
Are you eating your exercise calories back? How do you measure your food (i.e. scale, measuring cups, eyeballing it)?
-
How low are you keeping your calories? Is there a specific food that you're craving that's leading you to binge? Afternoons are my worst time, so I'm sure to plan ahead what I'll eat in the afternoon. I also try to stop and do a HALT (hungry, angry, lonely, tired [I'd also throw in bored]) before eating in the afternoon.

Same questions for you. The more information you give us, the more we can help you. How are you measuring your food? Scale, measuring cups, or eyeballing it? That's where I usually start. Also, are you eating back your exercise calories? It is possible that it's over estimating how many calories you're burning. Lastly, how…

I have the Charge, I like it, but I'm going to get the Blaze when it comes out in March, as it has more smartwatch features that I want. It all comes down to what measurements you want from your fitbit. Do you want HR?

Are you measuring everything with a scale? Measuring cups? Eyeballing it?
