I should add the thyroid was also monitored by my pcp and my endo wants to do extra testing for that as well. Lupus has been suspected by a specialist I had some years ago and also is something a few of my siblings has so no it is not a confirmed diagnosis but rather a guess.

I may need a new endo but not sure. I have only been seeing this one for about 9 mos. Before that my pcp was monitoring, put me on metformin and such. I have type 2 now according to the doctor but he believes it may actually be type 1 I guess. It is confusing to me. Thank you for the links!
