Yep, pork to 145 degrees. I usually pan sear with salt, pepper, and then chili powder or cloves depending on what I'm feeling like. And I eat pork very often!

I use optimum nutrition gold standard. Add after cooking. I then add a bit extra water to help mix and also cool the oatmeal down for eating. You can also add a bit of milk at the end too. Always works out great for me.

Pickles, String Cheese, and Yogurts. And pretty much every granola bar known. And every once and a while I decide to pick up gelato or Ben and Jerry's

Sriracha mayo, Ranch, or plain old Duke's mayo for me! Sweet potato fries sprinkled with sea salt and fried crisp with sriracha mayo is amazing! Best I've had is at DLux in Madison, WI. Can't wait to go back there and indulge in some of my favorite restaurants. Makes me miss it.

Yes! Picked up running again after a long layoff last summer. Was up to 240 pounds in July. Extremely out of shape. I decided to get back to running. That first mile was excruciating at around 14 minutes. I had to run/walk the majority. But I kept at it. Kept pushing. Even through the winter. And to now, I finished a…

I wouldn't call banana savory...

Whole egg. Egg white has no flavor. All the flavor is in the yolk.

No, just, no. To compare this with Talenti, or Gelato Fiasco is sacrelige. Kind of like turkey bacon to glorious bacon, or mashed bananas to ice cream. I don't doubt it's good, lol, but just not comparable to Gelato.

False information here. Bacon is absolutely a good choice if it fits calories and macros. Both for low carb and non-low carb eaters. OP - I think the calories on the package of bacon are for a cooked slice. What I do is log 1.1 or 1.2 slices to be safe and account for some of the fat that remains with the eggs. There is…

Sandwich thin with sriracha hummus, chicken breast, and pepper jack cheese. Baby carrots with sriracha hummus. And an Oikos Triple Zero Chocolate Greek yogurt.

My Kind, Nature Valley, Fiber One, etc. bars are all off. Usually +/- 5 grams at the most. Though I had a Kind Bar that was supposed to be 35 grams weigh in at 61 grams a couple weeks ago. Was like getting a free bar, but cost me on calories later in the day. I weigh all my pre-packaged food.

Thought I should give you all an update. :) Decided to go with peanut butter. And there's the final product. Each cookie should be +/- 120 calories, so really not bad at all. And the recipe made 26 cookies so I'm set! And I'm looking forward to making some of the recipes shared here, too. Thanks all!

Oh my :o these look awesome. Adding to my list to make. Good thing I have 6 pounds of bacon in the freezer!
-
Same with me. I love visiting TJ's about once a month, picking up things I know I only get there. But it's good to know about these items that are not recommended.

That link shows nutrients for a cup of mashed banana, or 225 grams. That's more than 2 bananas worth. They are around 20-25 g of carbs on average for a 100 gram +/- 10 gram net weight. So not too bad.

Those look amazing. Definitely going in my recipe box

Saving this recipe for later. Don' t have molasses right now and not planning on a store trip today. But I agree, those look excellent!
-
Sounds like a great day! But I'd have to at least eat one of each before giving away!
-
Those sound intriguing! I enjoy baking, cooking, etc as well. I give some away, keep some out, and then freeze the rest. It's nice having the ability to pop a slice of bread, a muffin, a cookie, etc out of the freezer and thaw and have a great home-baked snack that's easy to log.

I'm too content with my Green and Black's 85% and nothing else (yet) comes close

Just wanted to clear up the misinformation. There are NO hormones allowed by the USDA or FDA in chickens. So whether you're eating organic or conventional, there are no hormones used in The production of that chicken. It's highly illegal.

The Chocolate Lovers dark chocolate bar (85% cacao, think that's what it was called) wasn't very good. And the "two buck chuck" is not worth the wine.

Greensburg here!

Omg I need to find the coffee nut flavor, if only to try it. Anything coffee flavored is on my radar.

I had a breakfast sandwich (pre make in batches, freeze, then pop in fridge night before and microwave for 1 min. So easy) made with whole wheat English muffin, 1 egg, and 1 slice bacon, and a Greek yogurt.

Ice Cream

Had it twice in the past week and have much more in the freezer. If you know how to cook it correctly and which cuts to use for which meals, it is wonderful! I guess my profile pic would give away the fact I eat venison.

How about a bowl of oatmeal with an over-easy egg over it? Spiced with sriracha or other hot sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic. Now that sounds like a breakfast.
-
Breakfast burrito (large tortilla, 1 egg, yellow potato, veggies of your choice +/- cheese), Greek yogurt, and oatmeal. 400 cal for burrito, 150 cal for yogurt, and 150 cal for oatmeal. 700 cal and full for a long time. And coffee. Always coffee

It's OK. But definitely not as good as other cream pies like Banana or Key Lime.
