@rachelsambrown8 I am in the same boat. I've always been a 6-8 and I'm now bordering 12-14. Days I feel like giving up but I know I can do this. I've done it before. I can do it again. It won't be easy but I can do it. I'll definitely have to try the fruit smoothies in the AM. Most mornings right now I have turkey bacon…

Right there with both of you. I lost 10 lbs back towards the beginning of this year. Was running and lifting some pretty heavy weights too. Then i guess got bored with it and fell off the wagon. Maybe set yourself another goal. Like you want to lose X amount of weight in X amount of time. Give yourself a reasonable goal.…

I really enjoy quinoa as a sub for rice. But I agree with everyone else, still eat your carbs but just pay attention to portion sizing. I've lost 10lbs while still eating carbs.

Thank you all so much! Definitely going to look into all of the links and programs suggested! And Steph you're right, I do need to start logging how much I lift. I think it will help me push myself more

I'm not expecting to see results overnight, I do understand that these things take time. I was told that if weight loss is the goal, that 2 lbs per week is expected/acceptable. Which is fine. Yes, I can keep doing this routine. But like @aspdenbrae said, I'm only working each group once per week and I really don't feel…

I just bought the Charge HR two days ago, and I ADORE it! Love being able to see the calories I'm burning just from moving around and doing everyday things. I'm still trying to figure some stuff out with it though. Does it take anyone awhile for it to sync to MFP?

I just recently started back working out as well, so I totally understand being nervous about it! Everyone above has given great advice. The best thing that I can tell you is to keep up with your nutrition. No one is perfect and we don't always eat right. But I try to make sure that I eat within my calorie deficit and…

Drinking alcohol is currently something that I am also struggling with in regards to my weight loss. I think you also have to consider that you may not always eat the best when you drink. At least, I know I definitely don't. I've tried cutting back my alcohol intake to one night a week, and always the night before rest day…

I also love cheese and have a bad habit of putting it on pretty much everything I eat! Add me if you'd like! I'm working on getting rid of some extra weight and any added accountability is great for me!!

The more the merrier! Anyone that wants to add me please do! I enjoy seeing updates and talking with other people who want to get their fitness going! @ellybeann43 I've only been in about 3 years and I have noticed changes in myself mentally and physically. It's time to take control back and do this right! How can I serve…

@sstrack123 thank YOU ma'am, you have no idea what your thanks means to me!!! And don't worry I will be adding you! I'm looking forward to following your journey with Insanity. My best friend LOVES that program but I'm a bit intimidated by it to say the least! @Chubby_to_Cut girl I agree 100%! A support system is so good…

I work nights, so when I prep I'm prepping to take to work and have to have something that will heat up in a microwave. My normal container has the following: -a ground protein, usually lean turkey or chicken -a carb of some sort, like brown rice or whatnot -I steam frozen veggies and then toss them in -if i need more…
