I definitely agree with @mtaratoot. Even putting a scale on carpet or on wood floor boards can cause the scale to read differently. Try to keep your scale in the exact same spot so that its consistent when you go to weigh yourself each time. Also, besides weighing your food, make sure you are drinking enough water.…

Same - I know it’s frowned upon but weighing myself each day helps keep me on track. I find seeing the numbers slowly go down highly motivating and know not to let myself get upset when they go up a little - that’s just part of the process.
