Hey man, you just need to keep chipping away at that body fat % as it looks like your underestimating your body fat %. And as others have mention only 1200 calories a day is not going to help you can't build muscle definition at such low calories.
-
Hey dude what's your height again did you mention? And it took me until I got down to like 160 before I could see my abs and when I did my body fat I was about 20%. Just stick at it man you'll get there.

Keep it up you'll find the Lowe you go the easie it gets an it will become habitual. You can do it!

My advice in short would be just to change your activity level from sedentary to lightly active if your working out 3-4 times a week that will probably increase your calories by a couple hundred and keep doing what your doing. This Is just my experience. I've lost 34lbs and I'm 6ft 23 yr old male so very similar to…

Think how more amazing the results would be if your nutrition was on point as well as your exercise

MFP is a great tool to aid in your weight loss/ fitness goals. It has helped me transform and continue to get better. But still requires dedciation on the users part and be honest with yourself when inputting your food and exercise :)

Compound lifts and steadily chip away at that bodyfat %. Thats what i am doing at the moment and its going good :)
-
You can adjust the sliders on MFP so if you want to eat more protein just adjust the sliders easy to keep tracks thats what i have done as i am on a high protein diet at the moment. All depends on your goals though just a little tip for you if you choose to change your macros :)

50lbs lost that's awesome too! Just stick at and start lifting those weights and you'll have abs and more!

Hey @paulcenso I started at roughly 14stone and im 6ft. I'm now 11st 4 and I'm still not my goal of 10% Body fat but the abs are coming through nicely. Compounds exercises have worked wonders for me. Add me if you like keep me posted

Get a new trainer doesn't sound committed to helping you achieve your goals. If it's a trainer from the local gym you might want to look for someone not affiliated with the gym like a self employed trainer. But definitely get rid o the one you have!

Hi, insanity is good. Dropped 30 pounds doing it! . don't worry about if you are used to exercising. In the first week or so just get used to the movements and routines and before you know you'll be going as hard as you can and be enjoying. In terms of calories you could just adjust your activity level on MFP but for me if…

I was literally exactly the same as you I now have decent abs. Keep your diet good. high protein, don't be afraid of fat. A good tip I got is adjust your sliders on MFP increase your protein to roughly 1g per pound and reduce the carbs as the sliders on MFP at default are not good for what you want to achieve. Also,…

Same advice as all the above really, just take small steps to make it sustainable long term. Just aim to get calories under control like 0.5 - 1 pound a week you will fins once this becomes habit you will find it easier to maintain. Another tip you might find helpful put your meals in for the next day that way you can look…
