155lb difference...
-
42yrs old, -155lbs here... Took about a year and 7 months by diet and exercise. I do have extra skin I'm starting to look to get taken care of.

I'm planning on doing this soon, I've lost 155lbs and have a bit of excess skin as well as untreated gynecomastia from my teenage years.

On the calories front I've had the same thing but I also attribute that to my increase of physical fitness in my life and the need for more calories with it. The vanity sizing is crazy for men too. In my new size I wear anything from a M to XL, I'm a 38.5" hip but I have to buy size 34" pants in many stores... It's crazy.…

Having extra space in an economy seat. Omg. 150lbs makes a hyuge difference. I used to take everything of pockets fit between armrests.

Ah nice job dude! I remember being embarrassed I couldn't ride a roller coaster at great adventure from being too big. It's rough.

That now I get sad or frustrated when I am not able to get to my exercise for the day (gym or such). That is new.

My face.... my neck lost a lot of weight early on.

That there is a noticeable difference in my waist now when I eat vs when I have not... when I was bigger, I was just always bigger... now if I eat a larger meal, I get physically larger from that meal! Woah. lol.

I look in the mirror every morning getting ready for the day and have been shopping multiple times a week picking out a new wardrobe (and I've fully pruned my wardrobe of "big" clothes, multiple times). I still am not used to it yet. Being overweight for 25+ years, it takes a bit of programming to re-adjust. I think I look…

I started purely CICO and then moved toward Keto in my weightloss (now at -150lbs and counting). My main hope in moving toward keto was to attempt to keep my body burning more fat then muscle mass as I lost weight.

I still can't believe I fit into a large when I hold it up and look at it.

Nicely done! You look great!

My resting heart rate is now 58, down from low 80s.

The after is 20lbs ago already, need to make a new one. Before: 372 After: 265

@kitty I do! It's been a great trip...

Have to get some new shoes as I've dropped a half size and get all my watch straps reduced two links.

Thanks and welcome to the journey! I turned 41 this year, was glad age didn't keep me back. Lol
-
I wish you much success! Great effort there. My first 3-4 months and 30-40lbs was mostly all diet control, I didn't bring a lot of exercise in until after. I was eating so much calorie dense food it was easy to rack up 4000+ calories a day. Reducing my cheese intake was a huge starter, I'm such a cheese addict. lol.

I've got some flights coming up now and I am anxious to see how it feels. I've gone from a 52in pant size to a 38in pant size.

Thanks! Down another 5lbs, looking forward to this last goal set! Feel fantastic and really now enjoy working out. It's been such an awesome journey.
-
Just got rid of all my previous big clothes, I'm in my smallest sizes yet, quite a cathartic experience.
-
Keep it up, I've really enjoyed the journey and love working out now ...

Thanks!
