I am already in a calorie deficit, and already eating less & moving more. I want to lose weight but don't have a lot to lose (17lbs) but I have lost 4lbs so far out of the 17lbs. I was reading HIIT exercises were great for this so just wondered if their were any good exercises or videos I could follow to give me that push,…

Iv also tried to cut down/out carbs whilst I'm on my weight loss journey. I still have some carbs but only include them in my diet a few times a week. Iv cut out rice/pasta/potatoes/bread... iv substituted potatoes for sweet potatoe and some rivitta crackers instead of bread. Carbs are part of a balanced diet so it is…

Snap I wanted to cut out the evening time snacks, this is when it's worse for me. I did start off with fruit but it doesn't curb that craving for a little sugar or treat. I bought hartleys 10calorie jello pots or just save 100calories or whatever to use on the evening just to satisfy it.

I already stated I eat vegetables or salad with it and that iv cut back/down on carbs not that iv quit them altogether

I just had chicken, mushroom and vegetable stir fry.

Thanks for your replys and tips, and for those who are asking why am I eating different to my family members, here is what I meant. We do eat the same meals some days but I will substitute something I don't want like potatoes (I don't want a lot of carbs) for something else. Also I'm eating pretty much fish & meat everyday…

I am from the uk and this was my main point is that the price of eating healthier is more expensive. Fresh vegetables are no doubt very cheap but when it comes to buying meat and fish then it is very expensive!

Iv only just started but so far iv been sticking to oats porridge or scrambled eggs, tomatoes & mushrooms.

Sorry I didn't word this properly, I don't mean pills alone but I mean with healthier eating, calorie deficit and exercise too. A few people have recommended using them alongside doing this so just wondered x

I started up two weeks ago and usually do a 45minute session on the treadmill walking but majority running and I do come off absolutely dripping of sweat but I didn't know weather to alternate or not. I have heard good reviews from a few people on jjillian Michaels (30day shred) so I was thinking of using that. ? X

Thankyou I really thought it meant burning over 1,300 calories through exercise :0 how do people create their own calorie deficit?
-
I'm still confused by this? Hope someone can explain. Is it if I have 1,300 calories for the day that I have to burn more than 1,300 calories a day?

I admitt I did feel really down at first but I suppose it's never going to be plain sailing, their are going to be hiccups along the way. I always worry I won't lose the certain weight I want in a specific amount of time. I don't want to try hard and receive nothing in return. After reading your comments I now know I need…

Yes it's for weight loss, I do plan to increase the time when I get more and more used to it but at the moment I do find splitting it up better. Thats why I was wondering if I still have the same benefits if I'd didn't split the time up. Thankyou for your replies and some good tips too! X

Thankyou for your replies, that is all I have to lose. I literally have just a stone to lose as its excess baby weight I put on with my pregnancy 10months ago. I did think as I only have a stone to lose that it's probably going to be hard to lose. so I did think 1lb a week would be an ideal steady pace so that would make…

Thankyou everybody for your replies, I have gone through each and every one of them and took them on board. A lot of you have some great tips and it makes better sense now. Thankyou for the advice! X

Aww wow that sounds great, I'm looking forward to starting now! :)
-
Can I ask what do you mean by this?, sorry I'm new to all this.
-
Thankyou all for your kind words and support, I realise now that it is a sensible amount to lose and that I should be patient and not rush this, thanks all!

Mine is set at 1400 a day, I usually have between 50 to 200 leftover most days, although on Saturdays I go slightly over but with leftover calories from the week it makes up for it.
-
Thankyou for your replies I did think it could be because of not much to lose to begin with but wanted to double check.
-
Thankyou for your replies, well it's a week tomorrow since I started slacking so from tomorrow I'm hitting the gym and getting back on track, I can't let it get any further than this. Glad to hear I'm not the only one in this position where we have days or weeks like this, it gives me more of a kick up the backside and to…

I wasn't too big to begin with, I'm only losing a stone so I don't mean like drooping skin I meant like a little pouch. I'm losing the weight but the pouch isn't shifting too much :/ hope this makes better sense :)

Thanks for the replies. It's good to hear different people's views on how long they exercise/workout for. I aim for 5days per week but sometimes it has been 4. I do around 3/4 days cardio at the gym and the other 2days I do a toning dvd based on strength and toning.

Thankyou for your replies. Yes I realise now I should be more patient as it's not going to happen overnight. I think before I used to be able to just drop weight easily but now it's alot harder, but I'm going to stick at it because atleast I am showing some progress rather than none at all.
