When I use dairy I use the full fat versions. Fat keeps me fuller much longer hence less calorie intake.

50lbs in a year is a great goal! Some people try to start with unrealistic goals so you're already in a good frame of mind off the bat. You can do this!

For myself personally I think there's no hope. After losing weight my breasts have deflated and I have lots of loose skin. A little loose skin on my abdomen area too. I tell you one thing though...I rather have the loose skin than to have the weight back. This I know for sure.

Boiled eggs does it for me. 1 or 2 of those keeps me going for hours. Still nursing my 3 year old. Hopefully she gives it up before kindergarten for both her and my sake lol

Interesting. When I cook a few slices of bacon I usually use the bacon grease to fry my eggs in. Never thought about adding the extra calories since it came from the bacon that I'm consuming right then.

Yes you lose a lot of initial weight (mostly water). It is extremely easy to stay at a deficit because after a few days you are simply not hungry. Yes I'm having the same problem. I'm walking around all day and burning 100 calories lol. Something is not right. I'm glad to see it's not just my phone.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I think I'm going to not count for the rest of this month and see how it goes. If it doesn't work in my favor then I'll go back to weighing and counting. Definitely don't want to regain my weight back.

You can play around with your carbs and easily do it. Eating around 20g of carbs a day. Be warned that unless u plan on sticking with a low carb lifestyle the weight comes right back. I'm talking as quick as the next day lol.
