My favorite is using spaghetti squash instead of pasta for a marina pasta. I sauté some onions, add some cooked ground chicken or diced up chicken/apple sausage, some other veggies and enjoy with some parm. I now prefer the spaghetti squash to pasta. Keeping on the pasta trend: Cauliflower "alfredo" sauce - got the recipe…

Recently discovered La Croix sparkling water and love that it's zero sodium! My daily caffeine intake is usually a zero-calorie Rockstar/Monster since I don't do coffee. The Rockstar Pure Zero in the Mango-Orange-Passion Fruit is amazeballs.

Daily. It has helped to keep me accountable and I can really see how my body reacts to different changes - be it an indulgence or an extra work out. I weigh myself right after I first get up (after I use the restroom) in my birthday suit as I wait for the water to get hot for my shower. lol I make sure to pack the scale on…

I have coworkers asking me for nutrition, weight loss, and fitness tracker advice all the freakin' time now. lol

I've always been a veggie lover but my fiancé is a super picky eater. It took quite a while for him to start to eat healthier. He loves roasted veggies. Top would be Brussels sprouts and cauliflower. Brussels Sprouts - You have to trim them to take off the top layer of leaves. I cut them in half, toss them in a little…

Garlic, Salt, & Pepper. Most recently, I've been adding Shichimi Togarashi to anything and everything. It's Japanese mixed ground pepper spice. Adds a great kick to anything.

Thanks @RuthyLOL! The thing that got me from saying "someday I will start" to actually starting was joining a Biggest Loser comp at work. I was approached on a Monday with a start date that Wednesday. I just dove in and it really ignited my competitive side! I figured there really isn't a "good time" to start weight loss,…

I've been trying to keep myself to 1200 Cals/day since I started my journey. I find it to be pretty easy to stay at or close to my goal of 1200. I don't go crazy if I go over either and I try to not eat my exercise calories. I added a TON of water to my diet and I do a lot of walking and some resistance band strength…

I'm still on my journey but here's my progress since September (when I officially got my butt in gear). So glad that my chins have vanished. Lol (The green shirt was from St. Paddy's day.)

I'm in! SW:225 CW: 167 GW: 145 (was 150, but I know I can do better)

Craft beer and bottle shares. I still have VERY active in the craft beer community, but I have cut way way back on my beer intake. I usually with get a smaller pour, share with my fiancé, or take a sip from someone else's full pour so I can at least try it if it's new-to-me. (If you're on the app Untappd - you can find me…

I would be lost without my zero-calorie energy drinks. I don't like coffee (and the only times I used to drink it was with LOTS of cream and sugar), so this is that necessary factor to my 6:30am work day. They're the only "soda" type drink I consume. I drink my energy drink in the AM (I milk it between 6:30 and 9:30am) and…

I'm not hiding in pictures and I'm actually excited to be tagged in them (same as previous poster about untagging all FB & Instagram posts). I had a stranger flirt with me while I was trying on a jacket at Costco. lol I never thought in a million years the MEDIUM would fit but it does! (I started out wearing XL/XXL) Tried…

I can't whistle or snap my fingers. Although I don't play any musical instruments, I shred playing Rock Band/Guitar Hero on expert mode.

Ha... I'm also 5'6.5"! I'm almost at 60lbs lost and have another 20ish to go. I started in September.

Yep, my veggie bowl was delicious tonight. :)

lol... Chipotle is my plan for dinner tonight. Edited to add: I usually go with a Veggie Bowl. I do half the amount of the rice and black beans (dry), extra veggies, pico, corn, and a *kitten* ton of lettuce. I would just order a salad but I hate the lettuce on the bottom of hot ingredients. I get the guac on the…

I've struggled for a long time with my weight (Since September, I've lost 59lbs to date and still have another 20ish to go). After always being so down and depressed about my weight and always saying, "I will someday get started" I finally found my someday. For me, it was some coworkers wanting to do a Biggest Loser…

No worries. This thread derailed quite a bit in a way I wasn't prepared for. (It's been a LONG time since I've been active on any forum and I should have known better...) But yes, due to long work hours and a long commute, my work outs are primarily during working hours. I really appreciate your understanding. I definitely…

There are too many people to quote here. First and foremost, let me reiterate that I am NOT breaking up my friendship. No way, no how, not ever. We are super close and will remain to be regardless of what path we're on be it life, career, or fitness. Thank you to all those who understood what I was getting at. I was not…

Wasn't saying you were. Everyone else! lol I love my coworker like family. I know we want each other to be successful - it's a mutual understanding. I just want to finally reach my goal and I need all the little bit of effort from myself that I can get. This isn't a forever "break up". Just let me do what I need to do for…

This is not the case at all. You are all reading WAY into this.

That's what I'm trying to do but it seems like I'm under attack. lol What people don't understand here is that I AM upping my game and some of my only times to get in some cardio are during my breaks at work. I want to still motivate her while not forgoing some of my only time to sneak in cardio. For me to jog at all is a…

I say that I'm "more serious" about it because of the other choices she makes and she has even admitted it. I'm keeping to a more strict diet and exercise plan than she is and I have really tried to be that extra motivation for her. Her weight loss is great and I wasn't putting the numbers out there as a direct comparison…

I'm not anywhere close to breaking off the friendship, don't get me wrong. I just want to walk at my own pace on my breaks. That's it. We still get lunch together and hang out on non-work days too. I'm at a stage in my weight loss where I'm getting my motivation back and have been successful. It's been such a lifelong…

We take our breaks at the same time. My work is flexible with the time of our breaks, but it's just how we've been doing it for so long. I know she's no where close to running when she barely breaks a sweat with walking.

I work a 10 hour day and my commute is about an hour each way. I'm already up at 4:40am and don't get home until 6pm or later (depending on grocery shopping and traffic). By the time I get home, I make dinner and head to bed and am exhausted. My "workouts" are honestly mostly done at work. I have resistance bands at my…
