I found out I had PCOS 15 years ago and know that I do my best eating low carb and eating only protein, veggies, apples and other low GI index fruit. I have found some low carb wraps at the store that I use when I'm craving bread. Did the Dr give you a RX for glucophage or metaformin to help with your PCOS?

I watched Dr. Oz today too and was just blown away. She doesn't see it as a problem and actually thinks she is healthy!

I have Insulin Resistance too because I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). My OB/GYN suggested I follow a low GI diet and avoid any food that comes in a celophane wrapper. He also suggested taking Vitamin D and Slow FE Iron.
