Any asian grocery or market would have fresh jackfruit. Whole (they are huge) or in separated chunks. It gets my vote as well. Works well in curry.

I like it on potatoes but I also like it on its own and with a lot of other things. My only thought is that some brands are pretty light on the saltiness, so it might not stand out as a flavour on a potato like a cheddar cheese would.
