My diary is open also, although I'm not diabetic either that I know of.
-
I dunno @petunia773 - I've never understood it either!
-
I totally agree! I've put you on my favorites list and will be keeping an eye on that really nice blog! Thank you for sharing :) Now, off to buy ingredients!
-
OMG!!! How do you make this? I must know!
-
Ralf, you make me laugh every day. Thanks for that! :)

I am now officially the lowest weight I have ever recorded. Its like reaching a mini goal for me - 168 was the smallest number I have ever seen on the scale and I have now hit 167! Victory!

Those crepes look like my breakfast tomorrow...recipe? *beg beg*

I'd get it checked out. I wouldn't think it's a good thing.

Same here. I never thought of it as an allergy per se, but more of a sensitivity in that my body does not like to digest those things. White flour, white rice, potatoes, pasta...I always loved really good sourdough bread, but it sure didn't love me. And I should have realized when I could never stop at one slice (sometimes…

What is the big deal with the fitbit craze anyway?
-
I wouldn't find it funny, personally, but that's just me. This kind of thing went on at my office to a degree. People would bring in donuts or muffins, cookies, etc and offer me some, and I would politely say no thanks, then this one particular coworker would bring some right to my desk and say "Are you suuuure you don't…

<-- WoW and EQ2 player here too, not to mention years of AD&D every Monday night before I started having kids. My husband and I met at D&D night :) I was the paladin who was always rolling a one...

Love the Lindt dark chocolate with sea salt in it! A couple of squares here and there when my daily carb limit has room for it - yum
-
2 to 2.5 tbsp heavy whipping cream and 1 packet of Sugar Twin - YUM! I need a bit of sweet in there, but not a lot. Its worth the little tiny bit of carb to me.

I would loan you my kitanas but my son is rather covetous of them - I would never hear the end of it! :) You know, when I first started exercising I hated it. I got up at 6am and dragged myself over to the track in the cold, wind and rain, and I walked around it a couple of times, got winded and went home. But I went the…

@ProCoffeenator - what a great idea! I am in the same boat, pretty much, although I did donate my size 22 stuff to goodwill quite some time ago. My closet is a mass of different sizes though. I have some size 18 pants that I still sometimes wear during "special lady time" (as SuperCarLori puts it - and I have adopted it!),…

SW 236 CW 169 GW 150 (this may change) Dropped 6 lbs in the 2 weeks since I restarted keto...go me!

Same here! *giggle*

Great suggestion, Ralf! Nothing like drinking in the morning, before you're even out of bed! *chuckle* The last two days I've had a few sips of my coffee before the multivitamin and I haven't noticed any nausea so it seems y'all were right on this one - blame the multivitamin!

First time in a pair of size 10 dress pants that have been hanging in my closet so long they have actually come back in style! The waist was a bit snug, but that shall be my new marker of progress :)

My 16 year old daughter joined me on the low carb train this past week :) She's starting at an arts high school in September and said she didn't want to go there "all fat and stuff" so she started grilling me on what to eat and what not to eat. She's got quite a sweet tooth, so it could be challenging for her, but she's…

I agree it is harder to find stuff here even in Vancouver. I go to Bellingham WA every month & load up at their Costco (HEAVY CREAM) & this week I did a haul from Trader Joes. There is some good stuff in the store next to the Chevron in Squamish BC & it's a nice drive. The store just changed this past summer from one that…

I was actually thinking about foregoing my daily glass (or two) of wine with dinner, perhaps saving it for weekends or special occasions. I've done this before, but I replaced it (ironically) with a glass of milk at dinner and there is a lot more carb content in that milk than there is in the wine! What to do, what to do...

Hang in there, Phrick! You've got this!
-
hm interesting! Perhaps I should wait to take my multivitamin with breakfast then. Thanks for the insight guys!
-
I take a multivitamin first thing, but that's it. Could that make me feel a bit blech?

My parents used to add fluoride drops to my juice when I was a kid, thinking they were doing a good thing for me! I had no idea, but I am glad that I didn't go that far with my kids. This is some interesting information!

there is an add on you can use, I found it on Caveman Keto's site: http://cavemanketo.com/configuring-mfp/

@ProCoffeenator I admit it - I sang along in my head :) It's not a manic Monday here though, we have a stat holiday in BC so I have an extra day to be with my family! \o/ It didn't start well though, I was awakened at 5:45am by my son being violently sick in the bathroom down the hall. Seems like stomach flu, since no one…

Warm keto chocolate cake in a mug with whip cream - yum!
