Meh , I'm no nutritionists but sounds like a fad/gimmick. You may think you're a 20(?)something but your body is about 70,000 years old! Thousands of generations before you have evolved to cope with glut/famine, i don't think this will give you miraculous weight loss

Although I've got a Garmin chest strap hrm , i wish I'd got an optical version now just for convenience. Maybe the chest type are more accurate but i think the optical versions are sufficiently accurate for any non- medical use.

Don't be put off by the "not enough" comments. Sure, it would be good to get lots of training and miles in but these obstacle events don't have to be raced round, just finishing is a great feeling. Just go and enjoy yourself, it's even better with a few friends

Personally I like bontrager simply because I can get them on and off without resorting to tyre levers. But one important factor to consider is the rubber compound, soft 45a rubber will be grippier than cheap standard 70 tyres. A lot of good brands will make various compound versions of the same tread tyre

I don't really know any girls who look like the model in the article (I wish! ) but the girls in my gym who do look like that seem to be in there every day, so I think -yes, if you want to model look then it'll take a lot of sessions every week

Absolutely, yoga should help improve posture and reduce injuries, go for it

If you're just starting, try a little of everything! not all in one session but don't get stuck using the same 3 or 4 machines everytime, best of luck

Try making some other goals than just weight loss. 10k? Half marathon ? Crossfit ? Try a fitness goal rather than a weight goal.
