I just did Week 1 Day 1 again last night. Starting over to try and increase my speed.

Same here, and I only watched bits and pieces. I haven't had meat since August 2017. I'm also down nearly 50 pounds. Whole Foods, plant based was the way to go for me. I've never felt better.

I have this every morning for breakfast. Blend with frozen banana, coconut milk and a little peanut butter.

48lbs in 9 months, @ 20lbs from 1st goal I log all my meals daily and exercise as often as I can. Portion control, CICO. I also weigh in daily because I feel it keeps me accountable.

I completed the program on a treadmill too. Can't run a full 5k outdoors yet. It is much different. I can't pace myself like I can on a treadmill. I need to start the app over again.

TGIF!! Any plans for the weekend? I've got a 5k and then a 2 mile race on Sunday. My husband is doing the 5k and then a 10k.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Today is my 39th birthday. I'm at work but my husband did take me out to lunch. Life is good. Woke up lighter than I was yesterday. Down 41.4 pounds since August and feeling good! Thankful for another year, a healthy body and wonder family/friends.

It's my birthday. I'm working. But my husband took me out to lunch. It was nice to spend an hour with him without the kids. :) Tonight we'll eat leftovers and celebrate with strawberry shortcake.

I recently completed the program too. It felt amazing to be able to complete it. Now I'm going to work on my speed and do some more 5k's when the weather warms up.

I've lost nearly 40 pounds since August and have lowered my blood pressure medication. I was hoping to come off of it completely but I'm not quite there yet. I'm on the lowest dose possible of Metoprolol. In my opinion, it's all about finding a balance. I'm a full-time working mom so that's sometimes hard. But I exercise…
-
You look amazing! Be proud of your accomplishments! You'll reach your goal. I'm down 35 pounds since early August and I've hit a few plateaus along the way. What helps me is to eat at maintenance for a bit. A day or two, or even a week. Then reduce calories again.

We got 7" of snow and more coming tomorrow. I'm also in NY.
-
Start small. Short walks during the day for some fresh air. You have to find something you like so you'll stick with it. And as the pounds melt away you'll have increased energy. You can do this.
-
Do you drink it black?
-
Rainy Tuesday in NY. I had salad for lunch and I still want to curl up by a fire and take a nap. 4 more hours. . .

Great job!

Blend a frozen banana, tablespoon of peanut butter, half cup unsweetened almond milk and tiny bit of cacao powder. Eat as is or freeze for a couple of hours and have as ice cream. It's one of my favorites. That or a serving of dark chocolate chips.

There are water apps that will remind you to drink if you're that worried about it. I always have a bottle of water in front of me on my desk. I refill as soon as it's empty and drink throughout the day. I will admit, I drink more while at work than when I'm at home. So I aim to drink 80-90 ounces before I leave work.

What's everyone doing for Thanksgiving? I'm getting together with siblings and their families at a catering company. First year we've done this so we'll see how it goes. I'm looking forward to it. No cooking, no cleaning, and no tempting leftovers.

Congratulations! Such a great transformation. So inspiring. Thank you for posting.

I'm 38 (39 in a few months). Down 28 pounds and looking to lose another 50ish, maybe more. I've been logging in daily since August. Feel free to add me.
-
Don't stress this. It should be about having fun and showing your support. Jog when you can and walk most of it if you have to. You'll feel so good when you finish. I've only done 2 5K's so far and as another poster said, there are always walkers. You won't finish last, don't worry.
-
Great job finishing! I just did Week 7 Day 2 last night. Hoping to do Day 3 tomorrow but might need an extra day of rest. Listen to your body. Don't give up. You can do it!
-
I'm on Week 7 of the C25K app. Did a 5K late October (had to walk a lot of it because my 4 year old was with me but we finished in 47 minutes) and doing another one on Dec 2.
-
Aim for 3 days a week with a rest day in between if you're just starting out. I'm currently using the C25K app and I love it. I'm on week 7.

Awesome transformation! Wtg! How did you do it?

Start with your diet and make small changes. If you like something, continue to eat it in moderation. Just make it fit into your daily allowance. One day at a time. Read the success stories, blogs, and reach out to your fitness family. You can do it if you set your mind to it.
