  • I would switch out the Ritz crackers which although might be tasty are pulverized white flour and chemicals. If you want something crunchy and carby, try some whole grain crackers like Wasa or Lundberg rice cakes with a little cheese or a hard boiled egg or some oatmeal.   • Please be careful with the Prilosec or any PPI’s . They are highly addictive. I was on them for 15 years. You get relief but long term they can bring bad side effects like osteoporosis and dementia. I finally got over them by taking 300mg of ranitidine ( Zantac). Just trying to be helpful.

  • I make it into a stew with lentils, bok choy,shiitake mushrooms , tomato sauce, garlic., some ground turmeric, chopped onions, freshly ground pepper. Sauté the vegetables in a bit of olive oil first. Add the sauce and cooked lentils at the end or else they break down. Exceedingly healthy.
