Hope all my USA JFTers safely enjoyed their July 4th celebrations. Hubby and I had a quiet day at home. Early in the day, with the heat building, we both walked dog to the park and back for 1.28 miles. Later in the afternoon, we were sitting on the patio with doggo in yard, and neighbors a few doors down lit noisy…

@HappyDonkey75 Congrats on hitting your weight goal at month end! That's got to feel good. And you've given me a good reminder that whatever weight I might lose will help with my arthritic knees. Regarding July 4 celebrations, hubby and I haven't seen fireworks displays in years, and he doesn't care. I miss them a little…

I'm back, again. Didn't post JFT most of last week & not always logging food because not eating at home (Dad's cooking, funeral luncheon, outing to our old campground, restaurant this morning). My weight is slowly creeping up, so not the plan. I really want to get back on track for weight loss. JFT Sunday 6/29 ~ Hot temps…

Couple of days where I didn't take time to post JFT. Attended a "volunteer appreciation lunch", then with weather finally warm, I bought all my flowers (for pots on patio & front steps), and next day planted all the flowers. I skipped logging food the one day, since I did not feel like guesstimating the lunch. JFT 6/19 R ~…

Saturday I walked for the 29th time in the 49th Bellin Run 10K. Perfect weather: temp mid-50s at start & cloudy until I reached mile 5. I'm slowing down more (extra weight does not help) and finished in 1:45:25, with a pretty even split time. I placed 2990 overall out of 3271 in the 10K (there were 2373 that turned off to…

Hubby's sister passed away this morning, 6 days after entering hospice. I'm glad she's no longer in pain and struggling to breathe. Hubby seems to be ok, since this was expected. Yesterday I learned from hubby's other sister that eldest sister has been recently saying she's going soon to see Jesus. Something hubby had not told me but I'm sure he knew.
