How long has it been? If this was really recent, then maybe it's not fitness related? Something as simple as the flue can give you muscle soreness. Do you have other flue symptoms? (Cough, Headaches, slight fever?)

Thank you both! I'll go ahead with it then and adjust as I go ♥

Do not forget that trainers are more interested in short term gains/losses (depending on what you want) so that you're more excited about their work and talk about them around you so they can get more clients. Most WOULD help you keep the weight with a more reasonable diet plan once you get to your goal; but they are still…

I had a similar injury while running. I took a few week off any activity that engage the knee and didn't have any problem since. Is the pain the same as in Day 1? Or is it less intense/require more effort to provoke since then? Has there been any change?

The good :* "Hey, you look nice(/er)!" * "Are you working out?" * Asking diet or exercise tips. The bad (mostly annoying):* You look too skinny! (While I was still overweight) * You should stop now, you're gonna look sick! * You look good now, you should stop working out so often! * That cookie isn't gonna kill you, eat!…

Hello! Hope you don't mind if I join in  So I stopped running for a few months and just got back to it. I stopped a few weeks after my first (and only) successful 10k, but right now I'm barely able to do a 5K. Not that I want to go back to 10K, that was quite hard on my joints and I don't quite see the point to be…

Going for a fresh start as well!

Thank you! ♥ I guess I should introduce myself; so ... hm Adelinue, obviously; a 22 y-o, 171lbs at 5f 10. I joined MFP a couple of years ago, I was 205 lbs at the time and completely miserable but was able to lose 47 lbs and get a lot more healthier, confidant and just all around happier. I kept it up for almost two years…

My aunt was hounding me about going on a 'weight loss journey' with her. I didn't really put much stock into it but the both of us weighted ourselves in. A week later (I completely forgot the 'journey' lol and didn't diet), she asked me to weight in again. She had lost a pound, while I gained 2.2lbs (1kg), in A WEEK. Which…

I remember that I had a LOT of craving for the first two weeks; I used to wake up at 3 in the morning and just crave Ramen lol (I love Ramen xD) I also was a bit tired for those two weeks; but then I replaced my bread and coffee breakfast for a banana-oatmeal shake, which was really filling (didn't have craving with that)…

I personally do not eat my calories back and I never was on a 'diet' without exercising so I wouldn't know if there's a difference. But from a logical standpoint; you are probably not eating all of your exercise calories back (You are probably underestimating the calorie output). That is why I don't eat my exercise…

I usually eat Eggs or Oatmeal; depending if I have fresh fruits in the fridge to mix with the Oatmeal or not lol. Most vegetables go well with scrambled eggs if you let them stir in a tea spoon of olive oil beforehand. Personal favorites are onions with a dash of Parsely, or just some tomatoes with the egg. For the…

I confess I ate waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over my calorie goal (to maintain) for three consectives days; I just feel so hungry even tho I'm always eating D:

MFP gave me 1300cal which I believe is too low. I set it up manually to 1500

kommo: Thank you :) But what about overeating? Just eating what I like seems a bit vague. How much calories is too much? What about macros? :/ I forgot to add that my current program is 'You are your own Gym', a strengh training regimen. I'm hoping to stick to it for a long time (hopefully for life :D)

Way to go guys! This is an awesome thread :D I didn't do as good as all of you but I feel it's a success, even tho i'm still a work in progress :) Around 4 months apart. For the OP: Congratulations on getting started! For me, the hardest and most important part was nutrition. I hear that lifting weight can really help but…

SW : 205lbs CW: 163lbs GW : 150 lbs People close to me started noticing after 7lbs (so after the first week ...) but I got the 'Holy cow what happened?' and the more universal notice after 25lbs. Received quite a few 'you should stop' comments lately but I want to get to my goal weigh, so still 13lbs to go.

^^^Same I'd like to say I hope to be here again next year but I prefer to hope that I wouldn't need to lose anything this time next year too lol; So here's to hoping we won't have to join a Biggest Loser Group again next year!

I was slighty disapointed actually; Usually the finale for me is a string of WOW! Moments, this year I was only surprised by Sarah, Erin, The twins, Steven and Jacky; even then I was expecting it for most of them (Beside Sarah and Steven, these were the only true WoW moments for me). Was glad Colby took the 50k, he was…
