Yeah, I was very low carb last time I was losing weight seriously. I felt wonderful, but this time I don't, so I eat all the carbs I want (within reason).

I do a regular (every second day usually) walk of approx 46 minutes. I go 3.8km in that time, which I think is 2.36 miles. According to the system I have chosen to log activity, that gets me a burn of about 321 calories. I have been eating those back and still losing weight at a faster than expected rate. I can fully see…

So totally normal. I work in kg's, but you can get my point. This is my current chart. It goes in a wavey pattern. This is from 2015 where I lost a fair bit of weight, it also was always wavey with ups and downs. This was a screenshot I found, I can't access this information anymore which sucks.

Fruit juice in bread? For gods sake, why? Who wants sweetened bread?!
-
No sleep = no weight loss for me.

I have calculated my TDEE while breastfeeding for the last 25 days (going by an average of what I consume versus how much weight I have lost) and it's 3089cal, I certainly think breastfeeding must be taking a hell of a lot of energy!

I don't overly care - I mean, I don't want to be in any of the obese categories. I want to get down to "overweight" and I'll be pleased. My husband is 5'6"/168cm tall, weight varies between 161-174lbs/73-79kg which is overweight for his height, but he does olympic weightlifting almost every day and has a fairly decent…

Is that number is comes up with meant to maintain or lose weight? It gave me a figure that I eat to lose weight but didn't say anything about weightloss.

I had my baby almost 6 months ago now (where did that time go?!), I was 86kg when I got my positive test, and was 82.3kg the day after I had the baby. Maintaining weight was easy when pregnant, it was the 5-6 months after I had her that was hard! I went up to 92kg on Christmas day, ugh. Down to 87.3kg this week. I found…

Oh my gosh, you are teeny tiny! My husband is the same height and is 78kg.
-
I do, I have added 500cal per day.
-
Lots of eggs and meat. God I love protein!
-
How about not spraying oil on your pain, and just measuring out a few grams of butter or something? Everything seems to come in a can in America.
-
This is why I don't get what the appeal of a gym is. Much better having my own weights at home.
-
I took what MFP gave me as a goal and added 500cal. No problems here, supply is fine, baby is happy.
-
Gosh that's nothing to worry about at all. I aim for 120g and usumy go way over. Love protein!
-
Don't run while baby wearing! Their heads and bodies aren't made for that sort of bounce and impact.
-
Sorry, I'm no help with the fitbit, the day I got mine I seemed to start eating more and more and more! I lost 40kg before I got one and stalled from then on. Are you from NZ? I saw the anchor milk in your diary. I am too :-).
-
I ALWAYS have "keto" breath when losing weight, low carbs or not!
-
I generally aim for 120g or so per day, some days as high as 160g, some as low as 100g. I'm 34 and 192lbs, I'm doing weightlifting at home every second day at least, as I am lucky enough to have access to an olympic bar and plates. I'm also breastfeeding a baby so figure a decent amount of protein can't be a bad thing.…

In myfitnesspal, I set it to slightly active (as I think I am) and wanting to lose 0.5kg a week (about a pound). I then took what it gave me and added on 2000kj/about 500cal. I'm losing about 1.1kg/2lbs 6oz a week so I think I'm going to eat more. My baby is almost 6 months old, I'm currently aiming for 2000cal a day and…

I weigh myself every morning about 5am.
-
Huh? What happens at 6 weeks? I've never had to be cleared for anything or even see a doctor at 6 weeks post partum (have had 3 babies and 3 c-sections). I had no choice but to drive 5 days after my last baby and just get on with life due to older kids, 4 weeks PP seems plenty enough time to recover to me.
-
I always use raw weight and entries
-
A lot depends on your weight, height etc etc. I'm eating about 2000 calories a day, I'm 34, exclusively breastfeeding an almost 6 month old, I weigh about 192lbs. I'm going to start eating a little more as the weight is coming off faster than I expected, as I have lost just over 10lbs in 3 weeks.
-
Carry on! I only lost 100 grams from the 3rd of Jan to the 10th, but look at my trend - it's going just fine. Weight even goes UP some days...it's all normal.
-
I'm sure ounces are OK to use to measure? Sorry, I forget most on here use imperial measurements.
-
Liquids for measuring cups, solid foods should be weighed in grams, not by the cup.
-
I'm a hair under 4'11" and would never eat under 1200 :-O. Even hobbits need nutrition.
-
Thanks, I'm aiming for about 500g loss a week, but happy with anything really, as long as I feel better about myself and live a longer or more productive life :-).
