1200 calories is probably too low. I find that if I don't eat enough (of the right foods) my body holds on to the weight. Are you working out? You may be gaining muscle. Stick with it and focus on how good you feel by eating healthier! :) Janet in Texas

I can definitely relate! My body does not act the same as it did even 5-10 years ago! I've packed on 30-40 pounds in the past 5 years; most of it in the past 2. So glad I found this thread! I've been on and off MFP for 3-4 years now. Making a commitment to stay with it for the long haul. I gained 25 pounds over the course of 2 years. Cholesterol and blood pressure are high too. Funny how turning 50 coincided with those things! Not THAT funny tho. Looking for accountability to help…
