I pre-plan basically every single day. I just find it easier.

On the web, click on the picture of someone you want to add, click the picture that pops up, then click "Add As Friend". On mobile, click the picture of someone you want to add, click their picture again and click the two faceless heads and add them. Good luck to you!

Beware the keto flu that some get. You may feel weak, "fuzzy" or other things in the beginning. If so, try adding some sodium to your diet. Make sure you are getting plenty of vitamins and minerals because you can miss out on a lot when doing Keto if you aren't careful. Fat is delicious but has more calories per gram than…

Good luck and don't get discouraged. Life is full of ups and downs and that includes weight loss. Just keep at it and at some point you will realize the change is worth it.

I assume you have been to a doctor or dietitian for the "feeling permanently full" issue? It may be something where you need to find ways to ingest more calories with less substantial food (things like avocados and other healthy fats) along with protein. I wish I could do more to help but this is probably best left for a…

Do you use a scale and weigh/measure everything you eat? Do you eat out a lot and have to "guesstimate" what you are eating? Gaining weight over the course of 2 months would indicate that you are either not eating as little as you think or are moving less than you think. If you are exercising at all and adding calories…

Looking for friends who will fly in and kick my *kitten* if I don't do what I am supposed to do. No? How about friends who will ring me if I don't get up for the gym? No? Anyone willing to taunt me on MFP or something if I let myself go? What is going to make me accountable??!

Best of luck! Taking yourself in general is tough, with kids is tougher, and with learning difficulties even tougher! But you can do it.

Unfortunately, there is no way to focus on any one area. General weight loss is the way to go and eventually (we all hope) the belly fat will go away. Work on 1) eating 2) strength training and 3) cardio and you should be good. Eating is the most important way to lose weight, strength training builds muscle and overall…

I only consider falling off giving up. If I have a day that doesn't work as planned, the next day I can change that. Don't discourage when it happens, just make that change the next day and continue moving on :)

@shele62 - Done and done! @RandJ6280 - More or less, eating my lunch then the weekend begins! @dblbbl88 - Hey, that's in my neck of the woods! It is windy near SLC and allegedly may get some rain.

I haven't lately because I have changed my mindset. Changing my "relationship" with food, and how I view it, has really helped. I had the same problem in the past. I'd try dieting and then there would be free cookies or free pizza at work and would be like "Seriously, today!?" and give into the temptation. Now I don't…

I weigh every Monday. Weighing daily works for some, but I find that the fluctuations frustrate me. Weighing more than once a day seems pointless because of the same reason. Once per week, once every other week or once per month are what I would recommend. Regardless, don't get discouraged if it doesn't go down! Linear…

Then it's on! I wouldn't want to be the reason anyone else didn't go home early, so I will certainly make the sacrifice along with you.

Should I go home early today from work? I think I should...

Love(d) that show! My father raised me right...

Morning! Another typical day in Utah where you get anywhere from 3 to 4 seasons in a single day. Probably rain, then wind, then hot today. Have a great one!

Exactly. It takes time. My weight has gone up and down even though I've lost over the long term. If I gave up when it goes up or stays the same... if I gave up because I look in the mirror and see no change... I would give up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Just stick with it and know the changes are happening and coming. As far as…

The biggest thing for me is changing my mindset about food. Food is fuel to survive. Yes, it can taste good, but it shouldn't be in the back of your mind every second. You eat to live, you shouldn't live to eat. If you can make that change with how you think about food (or your relationship with food, if you will) then the…

The first time (back in 2009) was because of my daughters. They always wanted to play and I was too out of shape to do it. So I put all my effort into it and lost 150 pounds and was in the best shaped since my Junior year of high school. Then life happened... long story short... This time I am doing it for me. I had a…

Thank you for going into one of the thankless fields out there. Wish you the best. As far as reaching your goals, there is no way to spot reduce any area. When you lose weight, it will come off where it wants to come off. So doing crunches and squats will not necessarily force fat to disappear from your belly and legs. You…

Just got done with my leg day this week! I am too weak to walk up and say hi, so gotta do it here. Hi Add me if you're super bored!

Went to the in-laws for a Memorial Day BBQ (hadn't seen most of them in a few months) and was told that my face and everything looked skinnier. It is nice to hear from people who aren't obligated to say things (like my close family)

I've done keto in the past and loved it until I started feeling a huge lack of satiety. I would eat more and more and still not feel full. I can only guess that it had to do with a lack of vitamins and minerals. My suggestion is make sure you get appropriate levels of vitamins and minerals while doing keto.

Progress with weight loss is far from linear. There are weeks I lose weight, weeks I stay the same and weeks I gain even though I am sticking to it. But in the end, it goes down. The main thing is just what I said... sticking to it. Don't give up, just adjust where you need. Whether it is making sure you are always…
