I used soy sauce with chili pequin and garlic powder on like 80% of my veggies. The soy does great getting rid of the sulferyness of things like broccoli.

Not really, but if you're worried you should get your A1C tested. But mostly your body's not going to like being hungry.

I find it's best for me to eat about 100 calories 45min - 1 hr before a workout. If I try to workout on an empty stomach, it's very clear how much less energy I have and I tend to ride ~2mph slower than I would if I'd eaten a little. But, if I eat an actual meal before a workout (300-400 calories for me), then I feel gross…

I was always a thick kid, not overweight but by highschool I thought I was enough that I didn't care about what I ate. Piles of creamy pastas and soda, and I slowly put on the lbs. By the time I was adult I was definitely overweight, and this fueled my poor eating habits more -- I was already fat, why bother? Then, when I…

I also have an open diary and would welcome any new friends!

Avocado and orange is one of my favorite salads. You can just squeeze some extra oj for a dressing. Works super well on baby spinach. Lately I've been doing a lot of greens, chicken breast, olives, mushrooms, broccoli doused in balsamic vinegar.

This is probably the absolutely best response I could have asked for. Thanks @The_Enginerd!

Unfortunately it doesn't say anything on the bottle :(

Congratulations man! The first few weeks of weight loss are always waaaaaay fast. I've lost 55lbs in about 22 weeks. That first week? I lost 10 lbs. The second week was another 7. Now I'm lucky to lose 3 lbs in a week even tho my efforts have stepped up significantly. You're going to slow down in your weight loss. A lot.…

Decaf w/cream. I used to log just the cream but I've been trying to make it a habit to log -everything-.

Last night I had an amazing meal of roasted turkey breast (139g), steamed potatoes (113g), steamed carrots (30g), celery (72g) and portabello mushrooms (46g) served atop a giant bed of steamed spinach (239g) with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar (2t). Mixed in was quite a bit of garlic, shallots, herbs and chili flakes. Tons…

I was just directed to this wonderful challenge by @Machka9 (thanks!) and I think I'm going to give this a try. Month one's a bit of a crapshot, right? Based on what I biked last month (literally my first month biking), and where I'm at so far, I'm going to try for 180 miles for the month of April. So far I've biked: 4/1 -…

@FABRICWOMAN - were you able to try it yet? I hope you enjoy it! @stealthq - I hear that. I usually am not a fan of ground chicken, this is probably -the- recipe I use it for.

If you're a fan of peanut butter I'd recommend looking into something like PB2. https://www.bellplantation.com/ The peanut butter is defatted and stored dried. You mix 2T of pb2 with 1T of water to get ~2T of peanut butter at only 45 calories. It tastes almost exactly like peanut butter (enough to satisfy me at least). I…

Oh man, that joke was so bad I don't even want to acknowledge its existence anymore. Good thing I came to my senses within 60 minutes.

The Witcher was amazing! Easily the best game of last year imo.

I can generally kill an hour or six getting lost at http://tvtropes.com/

I prefer a supple butt.

@enterdanger Portishead are pretty much the epitome of trip hop (Massive Attack, Tricky, Chinese Man, Flunk, Death in Vegas, Moloko, Thievery Corporation, etc) Love Young the Giant! They're one of my favorite sing-along bands.
-
Fun stuff! Definitely one of my favorite live bands -- I've seen them three times now, the first two were so good. They were before Du Hast hit (learned about the band from the Lost Highway soundtrack) and in a tiny club, first opening for KMFDM and then later as the headliner. Their fire antics were a lot of fun when…

Haha yea, that sounds about where I was at level 13 too. It really is a fun game!

There's a gamer group, tho it's not very active: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/19-mfp-gamers I'm still running through Fallout 4. Level 72 and I can't get myself to commit to a single faction. Surely, I'll eventually run out of side quests...
-
Level 72 in fallout, still can't decide on a faction haha. I like where the game's at and the three main factions are busy just hating the institute.
-
@ndraughn I really like tuna with yogurt. I'll often mix in a little lime juice, garlic powder and chili flakes as well. Quite the tasty dish!
-
Hey Allie! Great way to turn a bad event into something good.

Last night I had some sweet potatoes with onion, chicken breast and kale (and a good dose of curry powder, chili flakes, garlic and turmeric) and it was amazing :D

I think the addiction groups might have things right: just take things one day at a time. You may be your own bully, but you woke up today wanting to make a change in your life. Commit to yourself that you will just for this one day. 24 hours! Really only like 18, ya gotta sleep sometime right? And part of the day is…
