Oh okay. It's just that I usually eat a lot of fake meat products, which only tend to be about 100-200 calories a serving, so I'd have to eat A LOT of it to reach 2800.

Thank you for your advice. I would also like to say that I am a VERY strict vegetarian, so there are MANY things I cannot eat, including but not limited to meat (of course), most soups, many yogurts, some salad dressing, most desserts/candies (everything has animal products these days...), certain types of salad such as…

Oh no, I've read it

Oops sorry, I didn't mean to put 90. I don't know why I did... I want to lose around 60 pounds, not 90. It was a typo. I would like to be around 120. I will change it now if I can figure out how.

First of all, I appreciate everyone's comments. I would like to tell you why I don't consider myself to have actually had an eating disorder. I never got super skinny like most people imagine someone with an eating disorder to be. I was also never hospitalized. I didn't tell anyone. My friends at the time picked up on my…

Thank you very much for your response. I appreciate it.

Hm. That's interesting. Nowadays my mother is 5'10" and 249 pounds, and she wears a size 16 in pants (but XL in tops). And it's not even tight. Her jeans fall down even. She's in between a 14-16. It sounds like you're just very hippy, as a M on top and 16 on bottom is very different, which isn't a bad thing. I myself carry…

I'm good now. I understand that people can be very different. I talked with my mother, and for example, she is 5'10 and when she was younger she weighed 170 and was a size 10, while I am 5'7, about 180, and typically a size 8. She was taller and thinner and still wore a bigger size. But also, as some of you have said,…

Also, I am usually a size 8 and my goal is Thigh: At least 20 Calf: At least 13

5'7" About 180 pounds Thigh: 23 inches Calf: 15.5 I have HUGE legs

Thank you for your kind words. :)

Lucky. Where I live, sizes 0-2 and then 8-10 are the most popular. Those are always the four sizes that are sold out at stores. Least common are 4-6. So since my size is popular, it's nearly impossible for me to even find jeans.

Finally! Someone like me :)

I always compare myself to others. Not that I think they're worse than me, actually because I think they're better than me. I struggle to accept myself, and I feel like these other women all look better than me regardless of size. And other women who are a size 8 look better than me. I just feel inferior compared to others.
-
Also, the size 9 person is obviously better because they have a lower fat percentage.

Oh yes, I know that everyone is different. I also know that I myself have a large body frame/structure. I just found it odd that someone my same height and weight could be 2-3 sizes bigger. 1 I can understand, but 2-3 seems odd.

I get what you mean about the sleeves, except with pants. I'm only 5'7" which isn't even that tall, but my legs are longer than the upper half of my body, so Regular length pants are usually an inch or two too short, but Tall ones are an inch or two too long. It really bothers me lol
-
I'm 5'7" and it took me about 25-30 pounds to notice a difference personally, even though I'd already lost 2 clothing sizes. Other people started noticing around 15-20 pounds.

I used to take birth control. At the time I was actively losing weight. I started taking the pill and ate the same as I had been. I regained no weight whatsoever and I continued to lose weight. Don't worry too much. And my doctor said if you do gain weight, it's only about 5-10 pounds, which you could lose easily. I once…

Yeah that's become really common. But the thing is that I own jeans from like 7 different brands, and most of them are 8's (except for one where I needed a 10 and one where I actually needed a 4/6 which is ridiculous). And other women of my height/weight wear the same brands as me, but say they wear different sizes?
-
Oh I know the struggle. According to most size charts, my hips are a size 4/6, my waist is a size 10, and my bust is a size 2/4. I'm not very proportionate. But most size 8's fit me nicely. Most of my pants are 8's, and all of my shirts are mediums.

I totally get what you mean. I prefer tighter clothes (but not tight like I have a muffin top, I mean tighter in the legs) so I only wear skinny jeans. I hate clingy tops though, ugh. Surprisingly, I don't have any rolls at all, on front or back. But I do get a muffin top usually if I squeeze into something that's say, a…

Thank you very much. :) I am trying to focus less on size. I know deep down that it is not a good indicator of health or anything, and it varies a lot by brand. I own a pair of jeans that is a size 4, and a size 6, and there is NO WAY I am a 4 or even a 6.

Thank you for your reply. I like what you said about how a size doesnt define you. And yes, I am aware that juniors sizing is different. However, some brands are more similar to women's sizing than others. Those are the ones I wear. I even have a pair of shorts and a pair of jeans that say 7/8 on the tag and they fit like…

I don't own a scale for a specific reason. Back when I starved myself it controlled my entire life and all I wanted was to be skinny. Now I don't weigh myself because I never met my goal before, and I feel terrible about myself. Weighing myself makes me feel worse. Thank you very much for your reply, though. :)
