you do realize though, you need to eat at maintenance after surgery or you'll just gain back? I'm at 1200 and it's not that difficult. It's all in what you choose and how badly you want to make it happen.
-
Seriously. Why do our bodies do this to us??? Lol
-
I've never really been thin. I was 174 before pregnancy with my oldest (now 7 years old). I developed hashimotos, autoimmune thyroid disease hypothyroidism. I was never able to lose despite weighing food and exercising and everything. Now i finally am losing. I actually had another autoimmune disease too... Now health…

The fat won't without surgery? Why?
-
Thanks. I just had a discouraging moment. I don't even care if it's "nice," I just want some of the fat gone already so I stop looking like a momma kangaroo.

I need to be gluten free because I'm celiac. I don't eat gluten -no celiac ever should.
-
I haven't had difficulty. My celiac diagnosis was a blessing. I was struggling for 8 years gaining, gaining, not losing. All blamed on my Hashimotos. Lost 49 lb since my diagnosis Feb 2015, and I have a 5 month old. Many people gain eating the "gluten free" processed replacement junk.

I'd say no. I have small breakfast and lunch, larger dinner, and generally my only snack before bed. As long as you stick to daily/weekly goals, it shouldn't matter for weight loss.
-
Mindlessly snack. Now I weigh and portion snacks.
-
How is that a myth? It's a well-known diet?
-
I'm talking about FAT. The gross belly fat.
-
I find milk disgusting, but I love yogurt and cheese. However, I'm lactose intolerant, so I limit those.
-
I'm about halfway towards my goal as well. 40-50 left to go. Feel free to add :)
-
More sleep and/or someone to cook me breakfast lol
-
6-7. I don't really count walking as my main exercise.
-
I started with about 90 to lose too. I'm about half way. Feel free to add. :)

Bruce Campbell, Kelly Clarkson, Johnathan Scott mmmmmmmmmmm
-
Hey! I've been where you are. New but not new... I have struggled in the past and have really stuck to things this time around and am almost down 50 lbs! Feel free to add me! :)
-
Homeschooling mom to 4 here as well! Everyone, please feel free to add me!

Tom. I need at least 2 Reeses a month. It doesn't really trip me up, but when on a 1200 calorie a day diet, it can be tough to fit in those 210 calories lol. I'm the type that doesn't get caught up on eating healthy all the time because that's when it gets extremely difficult. If I want something like this, I make sure it…

Thanks everyone! I ordered the hemp one (ICK) so I'm going to be searching for a new one when it's gone.

I burned 582 in a cardio kickboxing class lasting an hour last night. Then lifted weights, then swam. I burned much more than 600, even if my fancy HRM was off... I burn over 500 each time I go to that class.

Sometimes you need to vent. I have talked to mine MANY times. Many. I am glad I'm not alone here. My husband is killing himself with food. He's got type 2 diabetes, cholesterol issues, high bp etc. Refuses to make changes. He's 33, we have 4 kids.... And he's choosing food. Don't judge someone like me for venting to…
-
Actually, yes. I've lost almost 50. He's gaining. Was recently diagnosed with diabetes and doesn't take care of himself. He's almost 100 lb more than me now. Idc about weight really, but he's killing himself. That hurts.
-
Feel free to add me :)
-
I always check!! Had an oops once since being diagnosed. Never. Again. And all good. Some people do think vegan = gluten free. I ended up buying the nutiva brand someone mentioned :)
-
Wheat is vegan and not gluten free. Never assume. That's a rough few days/weeks for a celiac lol. Thank you though. I'm going to be checking these out.
-
Thanks!
-
I haven't thought about bars... I was thinking powder to add to my smoothies. I was hoping someone might have powder recommendations, not just available at a certain store. Online doesn't always list if a product is gluten free :(

If you're taking thyroid medicine, #1, you should not be eating before taking it, and you need to wait 30-60 minutes AFTER taking it to eat. So, I would wake up, take it, work out, then eat (and this is what I do because I have Hashimoto's).
