I don't run, but I walk and hike in all weathers including the snow (when we get any) and do a lot in the mountains here in the UK. Depending on the conditions I am happy to go out and have fun adventures down to about -20c I layer my clothing all year around. Merino is my fav base layer fabric and I have a few prized…

My skin...well the skin on my face anyway. I have sub type 2 Rosacea and the increased water I have been putting through my system (at least 2L per day) has had a dramatic effect. It has certainly improved it and I am happy with that. It will be a while before any fat loss is noticeable for me.

My OH mother makes them on her Rayburn...yum yum....and now I want one (or 3!)

I have never eaten Quinoa, even though it seems to be 'all the rage' at the moment. For something of a local speciality..I have never had Laverbread (It's a Welsh thing ;) )

Confession: I told myself that today was going to be a 'rest' day from constructive exercise. The truth is that it has been howling with wind and lashing with rain outside for the past 24hrs and I didn't want to spend 90 minutes getting soaked and blown over.

I'm all for offering support and helping each other out..add me

I work in the outdoors (spring/summer/autumn) and nearly always with teenagers. I want to start next year's season off being strong, fit and healthy (and smaller!) as a role model to them. This thought keeps me going.

I plan on enjoying my Christmas and Boxing Day entirely. I do plan to log EVERYTHING and probably walk a few extra km before, during and after Christmas week. Yes, I intend to eat a yummy Christmas dinner (i am cooking this year so I will have my scales in the kitchen) and pudding, wine, cheese and biscuits etc. What I am…

Feel free to add me :) I'm around most days

Thanks for the link. The first time I read it I didn't quite understand it, now I have read it several times I am happy that I have got it. Basically make the log entry reflect what I weighed. So I will carry on with my raw weights. The only thing I (think I) log that is a cooked weight is boiled eggs. Thanks for your help

Apologies. I just found another thread asking the same questions, which someone else started.

I've been doing 1200 for 3 days too! It is too early to say whether it is working yet for me but I am hopeful. I have had a variety of different meals, there really is so much out there. My BIGGEST issue is/was sugar! What I have found helpful is to plan a few things into my food diary BEFORE eating them, that way it gives…

I'm in :)
