My 'wall' is my BMI Every time I get close to my overweight/normal BMI number something crops up (like working away) and I just can't seem to break through it far enough to stay in the 'normal' numbers. I am talking about tiny differences in the number here...but heck it is frustrating.

Broccoli Lean Minced Beef Onions There are lots of other things, but those 3 are on my list every week.

Hey everyone So last week I was working away although I got in a couple of runs, which was nice as it was in a totally new area to me. As meals were from the pub next door to the hotel I was expecting a huge increase on the scale when I got back....but I was pleasantly surprised at how little it actually was (and I think…

The charge 2 has a bike setting. It might be worth trying out? Even if you only try it once. Just a thought.

My pleasure!

When I find an interesting recipe with measurements or ingredients I am not familiar with (usually USA recipies) i do the following: If measurements are given in cups I use the stated cup measurement ( I think I found a cheap set of measuring cups and spoons in a pound shop!) and then simply weigh the contents in grams. If…

This is a complete day copied from my food diary this week.....and tonight I am having Pizza! I tend to eat most of my calories for dinner, otherwise I would be raiding the cupboards later in the evening (even if i was not hungry). My NSV's: I finished week 8 of C210K today (the equivalent of finishing C25K) and I am really excited to get on and tackle week 9. Also...I have had to tighten up a notch on my FitBit Charge 2 as it was almost spinning right around my wrist...yay!

....barrels into the thread looking slightly 'windswept and interesting'........ phew...today's run was WILD! but on the bright side....I was treated to a very thorough dermabrasion session as the driving rain and drizzle basically sand-blasted my face....it feels all smooth now :o Have a great day everyone!

Hey @sdereski - I live in Wales, in a little rural village. @larrodarro - yes, they sure did build things to last..and it is so nice to be able go exploring in the more remote areas where things like that are still just 'there' (no visitor attraction or development). Enjoy your day people....stay cool B)

Today is a non running day and the weather is being kind (tomorrow I may not be so lucky). I opted for a nice 2hr walk over to our local Roman Marching Camps. It was lovely up there so I took some pics. View of our local reservoir taken from the Roman Road View of the Roman Road itself (what's left of it...not bad for…

Glad you got things sorted out OP. I have often been confused by the whole ML thing for any liquids that are not water/milk/alcohol.

I am envious of the weather where you are :)

Thanks @Djproulx. Week 8 of the programme is a run of 28 mins (although I did an extra few minutes). With my extra minutes in it would have been 5km. (running for over 75 mins non-stop is still a very long way-away for me). No races planned...I am a mountain leader and my season really kicks off at Easter...so I am trying…

C210K week 8, day 2 completed. It is windy here today so I was running into a headwind of around 40-50kph in some parts....tired now :) Yesterday was a rest day so I really wanted to get out today...at least it was dry. This weekend I will be teaching navigation strategies and techniques so it will be at a slower pace…

I finished off C210K week 7 on Saturday.....well, actually I went a little crazy....I shall explain... I was feeling pretty ok with week 7 (run 25mins) but was curious to see just how far I was going in those 25mins. So with MapMyFitness and C210K running at the same time, off I set. Well, at the end of 25mins I had not…

Hey everyone! First post in here from me. I went out and did a 10.5km hill walk today, it was lovely as we actually had a bit of sunshine. Today is a rest day from my C210K. Tomorrow I am aiming to complete week 7, day 3...eeek! Have a great weekend folks.

This is what I do too. If the store is sold out of cartons I buy whole eggs and separate them, using the nutritional information from the cartons I have saved in my recent entries.

I'm 5'2" and I have been upping my calories from 1200 to 1500. I exercise (walk/run) for around 90mins-120mins per day. I am just about to start strength training. If I didn't exercise I would be totally sedentary (I work from home in the winter) .

I started the C210K programme (which I believe includes the C25K programme for the first 8 weeks?). I am currently on week 7 and I run outdoors on forestry trails (no access to a gym so I can't help with info on SL or doing the C25K on a TM - sorry). Start slowly....then maybe slow it down some more! I was surprised at how…

Things I have noticed: - I actually enjoy running - I still hate celery and lettuce and no longer buy it - I am a control freak when it comes to cooking at home - I eat more puddings now than I ever did before - I may need a mortgage to finance my love of raspberries - it is possible for me to eat a single chocolate button

Walking (10-20km) and jogging (5-10km) tend to curb my hunger. I feel most hungry on my rest/less active days.

I feel your pain with this. My horse was in his early 20's when he damaged both front tendons and was on box rest for months. I followed the vet's instructions to the letter and he emerged sound again. I kept thinking "if Aldaniti can do it, so can my boy". Your girl is only 8, try and stay positive for her too. Keeping…
