I have a 10yo son and have never gotten back to "pre-pregnancy" weight, but I am getting close, so that's my first mini goal.

Thanks! I walk a lot at work (10-15k steps a day) so I dont always walk on my days off, but I try to.

Awesome achievement!

I'm pretty sure looking up in a book would take longer than MFP. As many others have mentioned, MFP has one of the best food databases of all the diet/exercise/calorie-counting apps out there. Yes, you'll occasionally find things that are inaccurate, but for the most part it is easy and quick to use. I use the barcode…

I have already read the entire thread and tried several of the suggestions, including making sure my step tracker option was set to fitbit instead of "don't track steps". So there is no reason for my calorie adjustment to get lower at the end of the day.

Okay so new question. Earlier today when I was around 8k steps my fitbit adjustment here on mfp was showing 348 calories under exercise. Now, I ended the day with about 9.5k steps and my fitbit adjustment lowered to 296. Why? I don't generally eat back exercise calories but I'd still like to understand this.

You look seriously amazing! What a drastic difference!

I am having issues too. Yesterday I did about 8k steps and it only gave me 26 calorie adjustment. Today I've done about 5k steps so far and my adjustment is already showing 86 calories, even though I'm at less steps than yesterday.

My resolutions include controlling my anger/attitude better, spending more time with God, and continuing to work on my weightloss and healthier eating habits.

I had a really high calorie dinner along with a glass of wine, but still managed to stay under goal for the day overall because I did a LOT of walking at work so that gave me some extra calories via my fitbit adjustment. Tomorrow I'll do better.

My fitbit goal is 7500 steps a day, I did 7577 yesterday so just made it. Today I did 13,029! Thanks to a busy night at work!
-
My goal is to make sure I'm reaching at least 7500 steps (measuring with fitbit) every single day, even on days I'm not working. Working retail management, I walk a lot at work but on my days off I tend to be pretty sedentary.

I have a fitbit, which I love. IMO, it was a great investment because I often don't keep my phone on me when I'm walking but the fitbit is always on so it gets a more accurate daily stepcount for me. But before i invested in the fitbit, I used to use an app on my android phone called accupedo and that seemed to be fairly…

I added myself to the spreadsheet, hope that's okay! :)

I just started c25k, I finished week 1 yesterday. The first day was ROUGH for me becuase I am NOT a runner. 2nd day was bearable but I finished feeling like I wanted to throw up. Day 3 though I got through with no major aversions and actually felt really, really good afterwards. I'm excited to move on to Week 2 on Friday!

Guess I should pay more attention. I started a new discussion introducing myself instead of commenting here. So I'll add here too. I'm 28 (29 soon, Dec 17!). I'm a single mom to a 5 (almost 6) yo little boy. I work in retail management which is super hectic this time of the year, but the good thing is that I do a LOT of…

Thanks ladies! I'm glad to be here!

I am very over weight and very out of shape. I started c25K about a week ago. Day 1 I wanted to give up on the first running interval, but I pushed through and managed to only walk about half of 2 of the running intervals. Day 2 I ran all of the running intervals but felt like I wanted to throw up afterwards. Today I…

I'm also aiming to lose over 100lbs. I have been on and off MFP for a couple of years, I think due to lack of motivation and accountability. So I'd love some friends I can check in with and keep up with, etc. I've been back on MFP for about a month and lost 12lbs so far this time around. Please feel free to add me as a…

I'm a single mom too. Between school for my son and working full time I don't always have time or motivation to go to the gym but one thing I love to do that is bonding time for my son and I AND great exercise is dancing. We just pull up our favorite songs on YouTube and dance for 20 minutes. It's not much, but its…

Hi everyone! I'm a 28 year old single mom with probably about 150 lbs to lose. I lost 50lbs last year with mfp but I've gained it all back. I need some sort and friends who can help keep me motivated and celebrate each other's successes together. Please feel free to add me as a friend.

Amazing! What an accomplishment!
